I already know most people / staff just refer to report.brawl.com (it's actually brawl.com/report now heh). But in truth, Slack and /report are more efficent. The report section is barely checked and sometimes takes me a full day to see the status of hackers getting banned, because sometimes I report on Slack... but most of the times the hacker toggles or leaves when a mod comes on. I just think that reports should be looked on often, I'm not at all blaming the SMod+. They all do a wonderful job, but I think they should get some sort of alert when someone is reported because many are on yet they never check the reports. Or Reports can also be looked on by Global Mods. Either way I think that if everyone points to the report section, it should be a little bit reliable... thanks for reading.

Report points only refer to report.mcbrawl.com, it's only footage of the player hacking or pictures of him/her saying something that is not allowed. The Slack website of brawl just gives the admins/Smods the chance to get on directly and ban them also directly.

And there's just one Smod looking for the report section(correct me if I'm wrong) but I do not know who. You might not know how many reports it gets until they see yours. Every report has an ID:

And yeah, they start from 1 until the latest report, wich does make it fair.

Using report.brawl.com will work too, and it's easier :v
@Audi_ handles the reports at European time, @Mojang at American time. Your report may not always be checked immediately, but overall in a reasonable amount of time. They work really hard to get these reports done.

Acquiring video/screenshot proof is specifically for report.brawl.com, especially when the offender had logged out.

Using Slack or /report in this case would be useless; how would a moderator know to do anything when the offender logged out? This is why we have the report form.

Also: not everyone has Slack, and there are times when moderators are simply not online. @Lord_Roke explained this point well in another thread.

The important difference between report.brawl.com and Slack/Ingame report is, that we can check report.brawl.com whenever we got time and nothing will be lost while it is extremly important for Slack/Ingame report that a staff member sees it within a short amount of time and is able to join the server.

Report.brawl.com can be used anytime and does not require a online staff member in opposite to Slack/Ingame report. It wouldn't really make sense to add notifications because this would reauire staff to be online once again.

If I had to make an educated guess, I'd say that the only reason report.brawl.com is used so much, is because it logs all of the video/screenshot reports in a relatively easy place. There are other ways to do this.

I fully understand how you feel when a hacker is in your game, it ruins the game, and it is frustrating when you can't get an immediate ban on the guy, and have to wait a couple hours for your video report to get looked at and in the mean time that hacker can pretty much ruin several games, and there's still a chance no mod will be able to get in on time.

In this thread though, you aren't giving any alternative options to change it. I have a number ideas myself, none I think are good enough to suggest though, so please, give us an option so that feedback can be given to the idea, and if it's good enough, it can be added :^]

Thanks for all the input, the thing is I always report them. But then they get out of hand so I have to report them by message, or by report, or by Slack. And half of my reports says "The user has previously been banned". I just think that report.brawl.com should be more efficient. More staff members should have access to it, considering it's our main point of reporting hackers. And again, I fully understand the work the staff members go through, but I think that report.brawl.com should be looked on often or there should be changes to who ever has access to it.

I would honestly stick to the report. Like anything, the HRC and Slack were the ones that were tricky. Like said above, you have a chance of loosing players with Slack.

I think I would stick to the report as that seems to be the preferred method of reporting. The forums are a bit different as the Mods just do a thankless job of spamming people with messages that don't make sense because it showed up in one of their reports which they didn't read. My thinking is it just shows they are being productive even when they are not.
