Saying that ''I changed some.'' Isn't what you should say. you should SHOW that you changed some, Something that you haven't done. As I said before: You haven't changed a bit. You can continue saying that you changed, but THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU CHANGE. It will just make you look like even more of an idiot.

Fine. Give up.

Giving up is not something that you should to do. You need to listen to everyone's advice and SHOW CHANGE. If you do that, you can get support if you do that.

 

I think that that post about me making a thread, can be minimised to a post.

First of all: You will always have someone on the forums that will dislike you for some reason. I have haters, the mods have haters, the admins have haters, etc. This is because every person has a flaw that atleast one person hates: If you wouldn't have any flaws, people will hate you since you are flawless. Don't expect everyone to like you after I give this advice.

So, what are the things that make up your flaws?
1. Your grammar: Why is this a flaw? It will make you look immature. You obviously can't have perfect grammar, but atleast try getting better grammar/spelling. It will help people to realise that you're a nice kid and allows you to communicate with others in such manners that it will make you look admirable.

2. 'Being overly joyful': This is a flaw that also can be described as positive AND negative. On one side: It allows you to be seen as a kind person. On the other side: It will make you look like someone who only gives out hugs and is afraid to offend someone. If you REALLY want to be a mod, you should atleast be able to show a negative side.

Now don't go acting like a mean spirited guy. Just stop acting extremely nice all the time. It can annoy people VERY MUCH.

3. This next one is a VERY serious one.
''Acting like a special snowflake'': From this thread alone, It shows that you over-sympathize with yourself. It makes you look arrogant if you do that, And arrogancy IS VERY, VERY BAD. It will make larger groups avoid you, and make you seem like a bully, rather than a nice guy.

What I am saying with this: Don't sympathize with yourself, and yourself only. Don't get overly sad when people scold you, Don't deny what you are doing wrong.

4. This one is the most important one of all, AND HAS TO DO WITH ALL OF THE OTHER REASON.
''SHOW, DON'T TELL''

This one is probably the biggest reason why people think you are bad. You constantly tell, but never show: ''The great things you have done''! You never show them on the forum, ingame, or anywhere else.

Now, why is this a problem? It means that you are never able to show change in yourself, And will make you believe that you 'change' when you have, in fact, you haven't (It makes you believe your own lies). If you are able to show that you can ''show, Not tell'', It will make you look amazing.

There is, as of now for me, only one person that has shown this: Alg_ (Not tagging, Since I don't want him to be involved in this). He used to be bad at grammar, seem immature and he really grinded my gear. But he showed change, and As of now: I don't just like him; I ADMIRE him.


And why am I telling you all this? Because I believe that you have potential. Everyone has it. But it can just take a lot of time for them to show it. You won't only need this advice on the forums+server; But for the rest of your life.

Now, please follow this advice. In fact: Don't just follow it, live it. If you live according this advice, I promise you that it will not only help you get mod, but also will make you seem more like a likeable person

 

I do believe that you have changed some. =) But you also need to change in the way you handle critisism. As a Mod, you will get a lot of hate, disrespect, people flaming at you, stressing you. A Mod needs to be able to handle that. Just saying. =)

 

If you can't deal with it, then that's a hint that you aren't ready... just quite yet. That doesn't mean you give up.

 

Do listen to Romke's advice though. It's pretty good. Especially for an ACA member.
