Brawl issues

It is a problem. It is not at all laziness, most of the coders are working their *sses off.

 

I agree with the fact that the quality is lacking

 

Just wait for brawl 2.0, everything is going to be revamped.

We're getting a new anti cheat system for the pvp based games.

We're getting rid of the lag and increasing the quality for other servers.

New hub and game modes.

Just wait, it's coming #soon

 

Updates have been extremely infrequent since 2013. We've survived this long, so you are wrong.

 

Brawl 2.0? Seems fun. I just personally want my old survival back, back to glory 1.7 days.

But... I've seen the new hub.... Looks interesting. then there's the all famous #Soon....

 

MCPVP died because of changes that were made to HG that caused a large drop in players. Also, hclewk made the decision to have BR, EU, and US servers. The move of all the servers to NY just came too late.

Brawl developers, coders, admins and staff are all working extremely hard to prepare for the future of Brawl. Read a thread on the future plans in the News and Announcements section which shows their plans.

I assume once they are done and completely out of beta the quality will be tremendous. It's all about patience, and respect for the people working on it.

The best thing you can do to improve quality is to record hackers and report bugs and glitches that you find on the server. The more you help the quicker it will come

 

Two of things, you did not read the rules for this section. You're not allowed to post issues of the server, criticize staff, etc. Secondly, we put through more of the developing of mcbrawl. Most of us been here for years going through updates. Your community has only been here for a month and already you're having issues? You're kind of acting like coding is the easiest job to do. I'd like to see you code. You need to understand that our coders do the best they can trying to update things, improved plugins, etc. Most plugins we have are custom, so it takes more time to get things going. Not to mention that he have so little coders. It's another reason why there's been 'lack of quality.' All of us went through lag, etc for years. You only been here for like a month and you're already complaining in which you probably shouldn't. Getting coders for brawl isn't the easiest. Brawl always has requirements, to get the best coders to work on the server. You should try to other gamemodes, not just ctf if that is all your playing because that was not the point of the merge; To have a bigger community. So there is no need to complain. If you read the brawl news, you can get updates on how the server is looking so far for the new updates.

Plus the server owner really only runs/provides, and maintains the server. The staff team are mainly the ones who do most of the work..

Agreed. Some of our staff can't be where you are at all times. Staff are busy monitoring many places. The least you could of done was record it and report him/her to the staff. Our staff take most reports seriously and WILL take care of it.

 

I can second this.
Most reports are taken care of within a couple hours of creation and are generally handled professionally and efficiently.

 

And you think complaining about well known issues is going to solve everything? Just wait for the coders to finish their projects.

It does not matter wether or not you did not mention them. You did though. Talking about the owner or the coders automatically is talking about the staff. You can voice your own opinion about the server AND SUGGEST THINGS in the suggestions section to improve the server rather than make a rant thread. You are criticizing the server and the work we put into the server as if we did not do a good job. Again it's not the easiest job. You're acting like whatever you want or expect has to be there right away. If you are a mcbrawl consumer, there is still no need to complain. Keep negative opinions away. Brawl staff goes through a lot of these kinds of problems/messages and there is no need for another one. YOUR OPINIONS MATTER, but if you're just going to insult the server {which it seems in your thread more than just an issue,} then it's not going to make things better. Listen 'bud,' I've been here for years. I know things when I see it. Too be honest, I can't help but agree that mcbrawl has issues, but that's normal and I don't have a need to complain. I understand what you are saying but you violating the rules is not allowed and you are only upsetting the staff.
I strictly put 'criticism' of all types wether that be staff criticism or server issues, brawl staff does not like to see these kinds of threads because they are already AWARE of these kinds of issues and they continue to improve the server and work hard on it. If I can so gladly ask you, don't keep reminding the staff, and stop acting like it is an easy job. Not all your desires will come right away. And when you're talking about lag, we have thousands of players that come to brawl. I do not care if mcpvp had more players, we have a lot to that cause lag. It happens, it happens.
