You can do bigger cylinders and brushes, just you need to use //sell cyl and //sel sphere

I find that Minecraft Build crashes far more than Creative due to the sheer amount of World Edit being used, the size of the command doesn't matter because everyone is using World Edit all of the time.

I find that Creative has more of a sence of community because you can fly down the roads and look at all the builds from all the builders of all different skill levels. Minecraft Build lacks that because you can't see more than a certain amount of builds from one builder.

I'm also not happy about the fact that you can only have one map unless you are a donor. Some players can't afford to donate to Brawl and therefor can't have multiple places to house their builds.

The color of the Mincraft Build chat isn't fantastic either. I don't understand why the global chat is a bright white (Making it easier than the dull gray local chat), when the global chat is full of cursing and fighting and complaints. The local chat is full of messages from my friends, the people who I actually enjoy.

I think that there could be a combination of the two game types, rather than an unwelcomed over-taking from the less popular of the two. There could be a plot system, but the plots could be larger than they already are. There could be World Edit access to all players, but far more constrictions on the less ranked players' World Edit abilities. There could be more than one server for the combined game type. There could be a new system for the ranking of players, that being that the players themselves decide the rank of the other players. The players who are on more often will know if certain people deserve ranks. Some players on Creative have high ranks, but low maturity, and this is an issue for the players who want to enjoy themselves while playing.

These are just a few ideas that I've had for a little while, and I thought they needed to be public.

That's because more players on Brawl are used to Creativ not because Creative is better than McBuild. Changes hurt.

You won't lose your builds, as said many times before.

The mods on McBuild will punish such players, don't worry.

You worked hard for them, I know. But you had the benefits of the ranks, as long as it lasted.
Where's the problem? There's no need to transfer them nor to keep them.

The old version of WorldEdit was broken, so the coders had to use a different version of WorldEdit, that current version causes the waiting period and the chat spam, these things aren't supposed to happen. (Won't be fixed in a while, though.)

 

On MCPVP, Build only crashed when someone flipped something. However, on Brawl, it crashes a lot more. Probably due to the host, or maybe an increase in players. You can have multiple maps without donating as well. If you build maps for gamemodes, you can be granted extra maps. However, if you aren't building maps, I don't see a real need for multiple maps. Since you have a world to yourself, you can just build it all there.

You can always use /map or /tp to see other builds, but I see what you mean there.

On creative, there's a limited number of ppl with WE, so the crowds of abusers are easy to track down and punish. Minecraftbuild, on the other hand, you can hire an insane amount of abusers and have some people with lots of alts so punishing becomes useless.

 

Punishing is pretty easy. I believe there is logs or something to see who is causing the lag.

If you haven't noticed, you can't edit ANYONE'S world but your own. The only form of abide then is causing lag, which is close to impossible with the current form of WE

 

Brawl's creative players are being just as stubborn as the players in the wool vs banners argument. I'm almost certain that this situation will end up the same way, creative will transfer to build and people will get used to it.

 

This pretty much happens every single time in these situations. Not everyone likes changes, some will go, probably most will stay and get used to it. Change isn't something we always like (like the SGG that a lot of people still rant about but most are used to the play style and whatnot now).

 

Everything's pretty much been answered, but I'd like to point out that Build's still in beta and there will be changes (including a possible way of turning off global chat, for example).

 

The whole reason this merge is happening (from what I've heard) is because MinecraftBuild will make holding Brawls gamemode maps easier and more efficient.

I don't think quitting over this merge is very sensible. It may be a change but I think it'll be a beneficial change.

Honestly I like both, I wish they could both stay, But it's a lot of money, I like how you get 1.8 blocks and you get to do maps buttt creative is a lot of fun too. I don't know.

@furtles I never said I'm worried about losing my "special name" those ranks gave me more abilities and options, not just some "special name" to what you think I'm afraid about losing. This might be a shocker to a lot of people but, a lot of us Creative players don't get the rank because we wanna be popular or whatever! Or have a bigger "status" we get it because we've worked for it.

 

I sign this petition, besides, i dont want to wait forever for Build to fix all of it's bugs. Also I don't want the memories to waste away, or the past YEAR I was on creative. Without Creative I wouldn't be on Brawl.
