How to defeat "any" trap !

    There are many traps that you can do in HG (if you have ever done a trap and found it very fun fellar_tino made a thread all about traps in HG "https://www.brawl.com/threads/43629/". But on to how to beat almost any trap.
    • First off just stay calm if you get pulled into say a mage trap just stay calm and follow the steps listed here.
    • If someone is in a suspicious spot think about what kit he could be for instance if it is a single person in a full dirt tower you should probably assume it is a worm just trying to spam the blocks under you.
    • Always carry at least a stone pick, a stone axe just in-case you need to break out of it.
    • Come in at your target at an angle when tracking them this will avoid being pulled into a endermage trap or falling into a Kaya trap.
    • always be attentive when tracking a player if you go far out you should pay attention to people's nameplates. and dig to them in a reasonable manner
    As you may have noticed, i put the word any in air quotes, because some traps are just unbeatable and inescapable, but if you follow the steps you should never be in an unwinnable situation.

    Even though traps are my favorite thing to do in HG if I ever get put into a trap it is just frustrating.

    Let me know if you have some different strategies for taking out traps please let me know.

    Ninja is also a great counter to a range of different traps.

    Never have I seen someone do this. It is extremely helpful for everyone who has struggled when fighting a trap! Very creative! :smile:

    My strategy is this coz I'm too lazy to dig forever to counter a trap:
    Have a stone axe and pickaxe
    Get maged into the trap
    Break out and kill them

    If it's a trap that has dirt blocks all the way up
    Go up the dirt path but put other block types on top of the dirt

    also,

    that's why I want to nerf it
