Introducing the Hardcore Games YouTuber scene

Hello my friends from brawl.com, my name is Fabio aka RedstoneMafia, and I used to play a lot on the MCPVP Hardcore Games Servers. Today I want to tell you some stuff about the Hardcore Games on YouTube. But first I want to apologise for my rusty english, because I`m swiss.

Most of the YouTube channels, that upload Hardcore Games Gameplays on their channels, are not commentating their video, because you have to be focused on the Game, so you don`t die instantly. Because "Hotkeying" on your Keyboard and at the same time talking fluently is pretty difficult. For those who don`t know what "Hotkeying" is, go and see the other posts about Hardcore Games, or watch this video:

So if you don`t commentate your video, how would you bring action into the gameplay, without your voice? No one wants to watch a 20 minutes gameplay of Hardcore Games, when there are just five or six interesting fights in it. So we have created two different types of making your video shorter, and more interesting:

• The Speedrun: We just speed up the whole uninteresting parts of the game with our editing software, and then, only the interesting parts are seen in their original velocity. This is a very good method to show the whole game, but the video will still be a bit long (From 20 minutes to about 6 minutes). You can see an example for this type of editing here:
• The Actioncut: This is the most common type of editing a Hardcore Games Game. We are just cutting all the kills or interesting events in the game together, and all the boring parts are being cut away. This will cut a 20 minutes gameplay down to about 3 minutes, depends on how many kills you made, or how long the fights were. Example:

In the background of almost each Speedrun or Actioncut you can hear Music like Dubstep, Chillstep or Trap. Most Tracks are from this channel: www.youtube.com/user/nocopyrightsounds

Hardcore Games YouTubers aren`t only uploading Speedruns or Actioncuts, but also Montages, Funny Moments videos or their own Minecraft Resource Packs they made. We are always happy, if someone brings out a new type of videos.

But on what channels can you watch Hardcore Games Gameplays? So there used to be a lot of famous english Hardcore Games YouTubers like EliteHG, Zephhyre, schmockyyy and thesaintsofgames, but most of them are now uploading other gamemodes or quit. But there is a big group of smaller YouTubers, that are uploading regulary very good HG Gameplays on their Channels.
