    Description:
The Philosopher kit starts you off with a Philosopher's stone, which on right click will exchange 9-12 iron ingots in your inventory for 1 diamond depending on how many diamonds you have made.

    First 10 diamonds = 9 iron for 1
    Next 10 diamonds = 10 iron for 1
    20-30 diamonds = 11 iron for 1
    30-infinite diamonds = 12 iron for 1

    Strategies:
    - Found more iron than you need for armor? Exchange some for diamonds!

    - Exchange iron for diamonds

    Cons:
    - Doesn't help you in combat.

    Starting Equipment:
    Philosopher's Stone (Renamed Nether Star)

Extra Notes: I know that iron and diamonds have a 36:1 exchange rate, but who on brawl will manage to mine up 936 iron in 40 minutes? Anyways, hope you like the idea!:grinning:

This is an amazing idea! +1 but I have one question, will you be able to transfer diamonds to your teammates?

Yes, which makes this an excellent team kit! I didn't think it would be too overpowered, but just what I was thinking.

    Oh and thanks!

In my opinion 9 iron is not equivalent to a diamond. I'd make it around 15-20 ingots of iron for a single diamond. They're meant to be rare. Or perhaps the amount of iron increases the more diamonds you make.

15-20 is way too much. Maybe 12?

    Thanks! :grinning:

But you could just go to the feast and get diamonds... much faster than getting 390 iron. Kits are supposed be unique and have their own abilities different from each other. This kit is supposed to make diamonds easier to get. But thanks for the feedback!

Something like that. But consider which would be easier, getting 312 iron, or going to the feast :stuck_out_tongue:?
So 9-12 is a good amount. Does someone have a suggestion?

    234 iron* if it's 9 iron to 1 diamond

    First 10 diamonds = 9 iron for 1
    Next 10 diamonds = 10 iron for 1
    20-30 diamonds = 11 iron for 1
    30-infinite diamonds = 12 iron for 1

I'd increase the amount of iron it takes for a philosopher to get a diamond, such as 15 to maybe even 20. The problem I see is a Miner and Philosopher teaming together and just mining iron the whole game to get full diamond and fight the feast winner.

Pretty much what I was trying to say earlier.
I like the idea of the kit it's just too much of an advantage, especially in a miner combo. (Miner + Seeker + this kit you would become ridiculously geared)

But how much iron can you get within 50 minutes, considering the pit comes back?

    A lot.
It takes around 5-6 minutes to get perhaps 20-30 iron if you find a good ravine (from past experiences).

If people were to team with a Miner, don't you think that they would get full iron for both first? That would be 52 iron out of the ravine. How much extra can you get?

And it would take 876 iron for all 3 to have full diamond.
