Go to control panel, system, and then un-install. Have a look there and see if any nasty and unwanted programmes have managed to install themselves there.

    Step 1:

Step 2: stop clicking random links skrub

Step 3: Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall any suspicious software

Most of the time, adware is installed when you use an installation wizard. It'll say things like "Get AVG Search Provider" of something, and at the bottom it will have a check box that will say "I agree to the terms and install this software". Most people forget to leave this box unchecked. Don't be a noob pls

put ur computer in airplane mode

    ez

If you know when you first got the adware, do what @RezIsStupid said and uninstall any weird looking/unknowingly installed programs from that day. Then, restart your computer.

Also, if you ever see a pop up in Google Chrome that says update Flash player now! and it refuses to let you close the page to get rid of it, DO NOT DOWNLOAD/UPDATE ANY FILES. I think I had to just manually shut my computer off with the power button to make it go away.

Reason I mentioned that^ is because it's very common.

You can't delete an installation wizard, silly.

^^ Look familiar? This is an example of an installation wizard. You use when you're installing something on your computer. What I'm trying to say is that often the wizard will offer you optional software, mostly adware and useless stuff. People overlook these and end up with crap on their computer. Usually the wizard will offer an "Express"/"Recommended" installation, or an "Advanced" installation. You need to choose "Advanced" because it gives you the option to decline the optional adware/junk. Choosing the "Recommended" setup will result in the wizard automatically installing the optional software without your permission.

    Got that?

    1. Stop watching porn on your gaming PC. 2. Just get malwarebites and run a scan.

I'd recoomend you to use Process Explorer. It is like the TaskManager but it shows you every prcess running on the system (even the invisible ones) and where they are located so you can delete them where they are located. It can scan every process via vitrustotal too.

Install Malewarebytes I also have Super Anti Spyware they seem to work pretty well. If you use Google Chrome as your main browser then getting AdBlocker is ez. If you don't it's just a few more steps to get it. Hope this helps. :stuck_out_tongue:
