Hello! I've been part of this community since the very beginning and i have noticed a lot of things change for the better, but also a lot of things for the worse, which is the reason i don't play anymore.
Before i begin, i just want to tell the staff that i don't want you to remove this thread if you find a reason to, please edit or lock it instead.

    The servers problems:
Mc-war was a brilliant idea and it was something very different and innovative from the other minecraft servers, it was fun and updated often which added a ton of replayability. That is no more. I feel that instead of adding new servers, you should actually listen to what the community wants. A BIG part of the community has asked for a new war update (2.0) for over a year, maybe even two, but instead you decide to start working on new servers, which we did not ask for. Quality servers over quantity. We know you started working on it now which is great, but it's far too late, i'm sure that if you actually started coding 2.0 when you teased us with it, a lot of people would of kept on playing, but instead a lot of the older players quit due to problems not being fixed.

There are tons of fantastic ideas on the forums, but they are not being added. It feels completely pointless to post a idea in "server ideas", it even feels pointless to make this thread as i know that nothing is going to change at all. Staff even replies to the threads but not one ****ing thing has been implemented.

Then the lag. I feel like brawl earns a lot of money from OUR donations, but instead of using that money to actually improve the servers, they keep on hosting the servers from potato computers in chaploo's basement. Take CS:GO (not a flawless game by any means, but they are doing their best to fix their issues) as a example, they have a big coding team that makes the game, and after the game is released their team is solely dedicated to update and finetune the game, and their salary is being paid by the gamers that play their game. A solution for this is to have different locations for different servers. For example, server 1-3 is in north america, 3-6 is in south america, 7 is in scandinavia, 8-10 is in europe, 11-13 is in africa and asia. That would give the players their best possible connection.

Another thing is how incredibly pay 2 win the server is, nuking with a weapon with scavenger is FAR FAR easier than nuking without it, then the gamemode infected is ruined because 15 ray gun and cbow spammers sit in their corner and spam away into the zombies spawn, followed by saying how eZ the game was and bragging with their score. I feel like the donator items should be nerfed, and players who devote a lot of time onto the servers should be able to get the items for free for their dedication.

Then the skill gap between "pros" and new players has become so huge because of op clans with the best players. Clans should be for a social aspect, not for getting the big advantage. Take the old FLUX for example, nearly all the good players were in it, whilst the "bad" players are trying their best to get a kill with their ak-47 and not get bombarded with the nukes and cbow arrows flying in.
I think a good solution would be that if there is more than 5 members of the same clan online, they should be split between the teams to even out the game.

There are many flaws with the community itself, but i know thats not something the staff can do something about as you cant ban someone for being a cocky asshole, thats something the players need to solve themselves.

There are a lot more problems than this, but i don't have the time to type it all.

    Thanks for reading.

War 2.0 isn't an update, it's a new server. And when is comes out, it will far surpass older versions. We've been very pressed for time lately, and working to fix bugs on some servers on top of the 2.0 update for all servers. The new MCPVP servers are in beta, and being Fixed currently. There are many more things to take into account. If you really think about everything the coders are really doing. It may come as a surprise how much they are actually working on 2.0.

Have fun having no players left to enjoy the new servers.

This is completely true, especially considering how they aren't even fixing and adding SMALL things, like aesthetic additions (redstone blood when you shoot someone) and gun problems like the knockback other players get when you shoot them (currently much more knockback than before 1.8).

It's pretty obvious that Brawl staff are trying to rely on all of these new servers that they say are coming back to keep other players waiting, even though it is apparent the majority of players want to see the current servers fixed before the new servers are.

They need to CHANGE their priorities. The current servers need to be fixed first, then they can work on the newer servers. That is how I think of this situation.

This is logic in a nutshell; have a team of coders change absolutely nothing with the network. It's honestly hard to believe how poor Brawl's development team is when pretty much every other server and video game can release updates 9001x faster. Why can't Brawl be as fast as Splatoon when it comes to updates?

Ah yes, the type of response Putty gives to these type of threads. Hey @chickenputty, how about you update us with actual evidence that progress is being made? Words and assurance do not mean one damn unless you can prove and show that the coding team is actually working.

Well, as i said above in the thread, the fact that they are doing it now is great, but it's FAR too late. We really couldn't care less about getting new servers as we know they will be another server which will be broken as ****, but won't be fixed. The point of a tease is that you hype us for something that actually exists, not saying some cool things that we want and instead give us something else.
My grand kids will enjoy 2.0 when it comes out though

Rants has been posted for years now and they haven't changed a single thing, they haven't opened up their eyes yet.

They have only opened the eyes of non-staff, with a few exceptions. Most of the staff completely ignore it, or try to counter the rant. The problem is that most of the rants are pretty much impossible to counter, due to how accurate they are... most of the time.

Completely agree with all your statements Gynamo.

    But then what Clxudy said:
"We've been pressed" Not trying to make a flame over here, but I'm certanly sure that you are not able to make that statement. You've been mod for x weeks( not bothered to look :sunglasses:Thug) and I can asure you that you have nothing to make with that. That one statement that you made goes only for the Old and current War mods, Coders and admins.

Ehh, this opened my eyes. We've seen deadlines, but no progress for about two years really. The community will get bored of waiting if it doesn't come very soon.

Honestly, I don't mind the wait, but the promised dates that never were fulfilled makes it... "Iffy".

I thought it would be out when I came back last October (which was AFTER 2-3 promised dates) and it didn't. Now, it's still not out.

Regardless of it's being done now, I believe that waiting for the good things makes the experience that much better. I'd rather a quality game over a rushed and buggy one.

I agree with all of this. And I´ve noticed, because of all the ray campers and cbow spammers, the new `noobs` were forced to donate for a good weapon other wise they will be rekt in 1000 pieces

It´s not like we don´t want to wait.. We just want the bugs fixed and the lag gone. But that is too much asked on this server.

    You don't mind the wait?
Weren't you the one who got so bored you went over to WarZ permanently?

It really isn't the wait that even bothers me anymore, it is the sheer lack of development to the current servers.
