How to Nuke?

The skullcrusher is good I just did not mention it.

 

This works for me and is very easy its just 3 words:
Ray gun + Scavenger

 

My first and ever 2 nukes that I had were without scavenger, I recommend using Iso and Python for nukes and I'm very good with snipers but I'm trying out skullie, it gives a lot of kills but hasn't much ammo when you don't have scavenger

 

If you want a nuke, aim your gun and kill more players. Period.

 

Use SkullCrusher with scavenger.

 

Ok many people are suggesting weapon combinations, but very few are suggesting tips. Yes, having the correct weapons count, but how to use them in different situations is also very important. I will give some of my tips for anyone who wants them as a guide.

A. Pick the right weapon for the right map (obviously). Now by doing this, the python is an absolute must have no matter what. The iso and the skull-crusher can be used on most maps without difficulty.
B. Traffic routes (AKA how many people go to a certain part of the map). You can take the high traffic spots, which can yield many kills easily and quickly, but you are prone to get overwhelmed/killed in the process very easily. You can take the medium traffic spot, which will have a higher surviving factor, but less people. Finally, you can take a low traffic route, which will not have a lot of people, but you will not die very quickly.
C. Find your niche on the map. As Sir_Blocksalot stated, the balcony on red spawn toward blue spawn is very effective. Other areas may be on the destruction of aftermath, which is a very good area to nuke in.
D. (This is mainly for -31) The most underrated sniper below +31. The l118a. This gun has a TON of ammo, and can nuke easily if you are following the tips above. When I was still a newbie, I used this mainly until I got the barret. When it was nerved, I used the l118a again, and nuked with it. If you aim your shots right, you can get head shots easily. I got give or take 7 nukes with this gun (which isn't much, but this was before head shots were implemented).
E. Watch your ammo count. If you do not have scavenger, you will run out of ammo pretty quickly if not managed correctly. Aim for the head as best you can, especially with the python. Do not waste bullets either on enemies which you think you have a bad chance of hitting.
F. Get a good clan with skilled players and a decent amount of active members. Nothing else to it.
G. Pick the right server. If you really want easy nukes, try some of the lower servers down the list such as 4-7. There are not many players on these servers, but chances are that is the base server of a clan, which could potentially cause problems. Or, if you think you can handle it, tackle servers 1-3 and try your luck.
H. If you are try hard-ding for a nuke, do not stop to chat. Focus on your goal ahead, and do not let distractions get to you.
I. This is one more or less that helps me, but I like to listen to rock or metal while I play. Even when I play other console games like CoD or Halo, I tend to do better with music. This one is more fun, but it is worth a shot.
J. Use the EMP effectively. Do not waste the time you get for everyone to be blind. If necessary, go in with brute force and kill everyone trying to hide from being killed.
K. When EMP'd, do not poke your head out of crossfire, as you are a sitting duck. Use walls to your advantage as to spot player names coming around the corner, and keep your guard up.
L. Do not be the guy trying to take on a group of 10 people by yourself, you'll die before you even get 2 kills. Get out of there way, and relocate.
M. Be a sniper. Even if you have an assault rifle, it can still have very good range. Do not be on the front lines, as you will be a bullet monkey. Stay back, and keep your head down. If you see a large group coming. Get maybe 1 or 2 shots out and then duck into cover. Cover is another HUGE way to survive, even if it is only 1 block tall, as you might dodge a dew bullets.
N. STRAFE N' JUMP. With the skull crusher, hold the spacebar and move left and right. You will move faster ADSing, and you will be a hard target to hit.
O. Be aware of the gunfight you are going into. If you are at close range, and the guy has a shotgun, run. You are at a gun disadvantage, which can easily kill you. Avoid donors as best you can, until you are experienced enough to know there weaknesses.​

Choose your gun wisely, if you know a good camping spot on a map use a sniper e.g. Iso, if you know a close range camping spot use a shottie or automatic e.g. Model or Skully. Now if you want to get kills fast I suggest mini gun+scav+spawn kill

 

Why is everybody saying that the iso with scav is good for nuking??? ***** PLEASE, the iso already has a whopping 64 bullets which is HUUUGGGEEE for a sniper, I recommend slight of hand with the iso because as I said, it has a TON of ammo so you can afford to miss 43 shots!!! And because the reload is PAINFULLY SLOW. So having that 2 second reload can REALLLY help with not only your iso but with your python too!!!

 

Guys if I can nuke on a 1 gig computer sure as hell you can to.

When you level up its easy to nuke

 

My first nuke, and double nuke were both on Plaza TDM. I used a model 1887 and a degal. Watch the trafic flow and nametags. Let your allies take the main damage while you scoop in. Watch that flank. Thats it.
