You won't lose your builds. I'm pretty sure they are transferring the builds to Build. However, don't quote me on that. I'm not exactly sure.

Ive been told by Moderators that the schematics will be available to download somewhere. Not sure where though.

Although you may post these threads arguing wether creative should be put down or not, it really doesn't have hardly any effect on what they will do. It's their decision at what they do to help the server.
Furthermore, even WEpro's like myself don't stress to the fact we will be losing our ranks. It was all because we learnt how to build while also competing for a simple rank to make ourselves feel better about what we achieved. Of course this isn't a bad thing at all. From what I've heard, in the future of mcbuild they will be adding ranks as well. So don't worry about not being able to have a rank.
Think of it this way, creative will go down, yes I know not a good start but; then mcbuild will be more populated with players so it'll be less boring, World Edit will still be there but for people who don't have ranks as well, More space to build, you can make more friends and basicly just have a good time.
Like anybody else, I will not force you to go on and I hope you make a decision you'll be happy with.

Architect and trusted, those sorts of things. And ive been told they will decide on time spent on server instead of how well they can build?

 

I'll miss Creative, but I think build is a change for the good of Brawl.

 

The ranks of the Build server are as follows:

Normal member: 1 map
VIP: 2 maps
MVP: 5 maps
ELITE: 10 maps

I am almost positive that a Trusted rank will be added, but this will be an extremely hard rank to achieve. You must be a very skilled builder and staff needs to approve of you having this rank. That is just what I've heard though.

 

There have been many threads like this created. Yes, creative will go down because it is outdated. Yes, there will most likely be a trusted rank on Build. No, you will not keep your rank.

Not sure what the point is of keeping an old and outdated server besides nostalgia for players.

Additionally, the building community is split right now, and keeping it that way will harm both ends of the community.

 

It should be renamed Skilled then. It would be a lot more appropriate given the requirements.

 

I agree. I am not setting this rank up, I just know what the basics of it are and what it's going to be called.

I never really understood why they would make people apply for ranks and then start closing Creative and replace it another server which provides instant WE, bigger plots (by 1 000 000 000)
