Volcanos in Extreme Hills Biome

    A lot of biomes in HG are boring and dull but one of the most boring and dull biomes, in my opinion, is Extreme Hills. It looks kinda crappy as most of it is a mix of stone and dirt/grass, and there's nothing much to explore. Not only that, but it is annoying to PvP on and it is annoying to travel across. It doesn't serve any purpose to gameplay (swamps have mushrooms for soup, deserts have cacti for soup, extreme hills has ????), either.

    If a biome looks bad and doesn't change gameplay much for the better, it should either be removed or improved. I'm not sure if this is possible to code or not, but there could be volcanos that randomly spawn in Extreme Hills biomes. Each Extreme Hills biome would have 1 volcano. Volcanos would be hollowed-out mountains with bits of obsidian (more obsidian the deeper you go) and lava at the bottom. There could be platforms to get to the bottom and some chests above the lava, which are dangerous to get to.

    Also, when the bonus feast is spawned, the volcanos could erupt. The lava in the volcano would shoot up through the top (you can do this with falling sand entities) and would cause destruction to anyone who doesn't run like hell when it happens.

    I'm not sure if its possible to code, but it'd make Extreme Hills biomes a lot more interesting.

    Or there could be a set of schematics that randomly generate in those biomes. Randomly generated structures were suggested before, I guess could fit in that category. It would be nice to see some things to spice up HG, considering it's just a normal world.

    There's been randomly generated structures before, and as long as they fit in and don't contain really OP loot then it should be fine.

    Also, I just realized, you said Extreme Hills is extremely annoying to fight in, adding volcanoes... wouldn't that make the situation even worse? :V

    It'd make it more interesting to fight in (you could knock someone into the volcano for example)

    I think this could be abused for traps. Have a grandpa at the top and like an Urgal at the bottom. Since you said that lava is at the bottom, the grandpa can knock the person in and he'll get critted in lava. And the eruption could cause a lot of lag. But this is a good idea

    This would be really cool as long as it didn't cause lag for days. It would add an element to HG that would make it feel a bit less safe (which is good). Maybe having the volcanoes erupt at a random time would be better

    I'm definitely one for making biomes more unique, so this could be an interesting addition to the game.
    I don't think the eruption is generally necessary, but I wouldn't mind seeing volcanic like structures in extreme hills biomes.

    It does take away from the originality and vanilla side of HG but personally;
    I'm all for custom biomes.

    I personally think the extreme hills add a lot to the game. Stompers have a already built jumping area for quick small damages, grandpa had a area to fight it.I so think something needs to be done to the maps in general though. The big biomes we had when it was broken were fun as hell. If anything the hg games should reuse the arena at the beginning as the pit and the map should be 4 biomes only, and the feast should always be at 0 0. That way towers will fight for the middle and they are a little more predictable. After the feast the map should get 10% smaller every 5 minutes. That's 50 blocks on all sides.

    We need more custom-generated stuff in general in HG. This is a pretty cool idea though.
