    (This is not a ban appeal, but just an open thread about the Banhammer)

    Hey guys- I was falsely banned by the Banhammer today- I was using a horse for a while, jumped into the water and swam for a bit with Depth Strider III boots on, killed a Zombie with my OP sword and

    BAM!

    "The Banhammer is Approaching!" was put on my screen, went slowness 100 for a few seconds and was autokilled. My stuff splattered all over the ground...

    That sucked, and I was wondering if anyone else had a false ban experience, and if it was related to OP armor, horses, or OP weapons.

    (Also, if you find a set of Prot 4, Sharp 5 stuff next to a diamond horse on a beach please leave it. Much thanks. I know where it is and I will retrieve it when the ban lifts.)

    Yeah it was a bit frustrating when I got falsely banned. I just lagged for a second and got banned. Luckily I messaged @NomNuggetNom on slack and he unbanned me like within a couple minutes (thank you so much to him!), but it is frustrating when you get banned.

    Happens all the time thanks to red's absolutely brilliantently accurate auto-ban.

    I'd find your OP **** but I'm 3,000 miles away from my computer so there's a bit of a problem...

    Can't we just temporary remove the ban hammer until the problems of the ban hammer gets fixed? Most of the people hate getting falsely banned, so why don't we temporary remove it. I know that hackers will be more of a problem but they're still a insanely huge problem as it is.

    This is just another time where Brawl fails to be like McPvP. At least their auto ban isn't crap.

    It isn't even bad enough to have to remove it. Lowering the ban time to 10-20 minutes would be fine. According to a mod who I'm not gonna name, Chap wants to make the anti-cheat permaban on the first go.

    I don't know why they don't just use kNoHax1 or kNoHax2 before it came to Brawl. It was fine on McPvP and hardly any alterations would be needed to fix it.

    I JUST GOT BANNED AGAIN!!!!

    This is a pile of shizzle.

    I was *just* finishing up a raid on a skybase, doing one last look around, and was running to the edge to jump off into water and

    BAM!

    The Banhammer Approched.

    Someone was watching me play and was wondering what that was about, we both laughed, no big deal...

    I don't plan on playing anymore tonight so an unban is moot but dang....

    That sucks that you were falsely banned. Make sure to talk to a staff member to get you unbanned. I hope you get your stuff back!
