    As we all know, back in about May or so, I was banned for minimap, but how many people knew how they figured it out? Well, here is the video I posted that told all.....

    It showed entities, don't use Zan's minimap, that will get you banned...

    There was a rule somewhere here about this on the forums. It said use Rei's minimap instead.

    I just double checked and it seems that that thread is "Gone" or at least I can not find it by using multiple strategies to locate it.
    Why is Rei's minimap excepted and not other maps that have the same features?

    Other maps show player locations. Rei's does not. Player locations gives you a huge advantage in games.

    Okay I understand now. I agree having a permeant radar on would be cheating.

    I read it once when I was browsing the forums, I think they should have given you a warning instead of banning.

    I think we banned him two or three times for having the same minimap if I remember correctly. He didn't remove it after the first ban. :l

    Anyway, s'all good now.

    Joeymast99 has that map on his vids for mc -war server is that bad or not because I want to try find it and use it but couldn't find it

    I had a screenshot of someone hacking out of the map, and when I posted the screenshot, it had my minimap in it, so I got banned for that, but then I pleaded and we agreed that I got rid of players on the map. So being, I made that video, not showing players, but entities ( -_- myself ) and that got me banned for 1. Minimap and 2. lying. I asked about lying, and they claimed I said "I will remove the MINIMAP..." and I didn't, since we didn't agree to it. (Though I greatly wish i had...) Before I was banned, I made a Moderator application with almost everyone saying I should be mod and almost all +1, even mafiaferret said yes twice on it, but when I got banned, that ruined it all...

    You can turn off the players location on the mini map

    Yes, but I would not recommend the minimap at all, don't take any risks.

    After that incident, I don't use any minimap anymore...
