    So I was just playing casual, having a good day, and suddenly, this happened. Ruined my day, or my game at least:wink:

    I think we can all agree that dying because of accidentally breaking a block has to be the worst way to die. Especially when you're on a high killstreak, and concentrate so much about enemies and you forget about the blocks and how easy it is to break them with your handgun.

    I don't want to remove the block glitching system, but I'd really like to expand the time it takes to break the block, so you don't break them with a single click. I'm mainly referring to blocks of snow, due to the fact that it only takes a little click to break them, with a handgun of course. So how about 2 seconds to break blocks with guns? That would decrease the amounts of accidental deaths, and you would still be able to suicide on infected.

    Please comment your thoughts regarding block glitching:smile:

    We should get an alternative to just killing the player that is supposed to be block glitching.

    That would be great, of course. But let us assume that it has to kill you in order to prevent block glitching.

    I can't tell you how many times I lost my 20 ks to my stupid shovel for a python. This is a issue that I thank you for bringing up.

    But then it will be pretty much impossible to suicide on most maps unless they have a void/deep water

    Would be used to get easy nukes. That's why it got removed, I believe.
    2 friends go together, 1 kills the other, and the one who got killed types /kill until the killer gets the nuke

    Ah ye I remember when /kill was in but i didn't know people did that ( Man why didn't I think of dat xD )

    People only use them on infect so just disable them in all the other game modes. Then, do what you said, make it harder to destroy blocks.

    The no block glitching is so that players can't climb two-block things by breaking the top block then jumping quickly and managing to glitch through.

    There should be a time set for how long it takes to break blocks. like 3 seconds or so, so its not instant death

    Instead of killing us breaking a block teleports the player to the spawn of the map you're playing on. This is a rough idea and it's pretty exploitable but it doesn't kill you on a 20 KS.

    You do realize the Python is essentially a golden shovel (a.k.a. the fastest destroying tool)?

    This has happened to me a number of times, especially on snow maps. There should be a time set for how long it takes to break blocks so its not instant death.

    That's the point here, it's too easy to lose killstreaks with the python due to it breaking blocks too fast.

    What exactly are you trying to say? Do you want us to stop using the python? I just think it would be great if they could make it to 2 seconds to break a block. Then every problem should be solved.

    I don't think that is possible. It is a shovel, when you go up to snow with one, it breaks fast.

    The best idea would be to remove block glitching and add /kill.
