Idea Bring back hordes and nerf zombies

This is the problem, nobody ever seems to get a balancing done correctly. There can be so much more ideas that can be done but that doesn't seem to be the case of these, it's all either big hordes, or zombies that deal a lot but are none-existent. Nobody really goes into thought about these and just suggests simple ideas that give no meaning.
If you want the zombies changed, suggest an idea and take your time with it, figure out the stats, go into detail and figure out the best option for them. Not that hard unless you don't know the certain stats.

 

Hordes were a problem in big fights with a lot of people in it and if one of the teams are camping it gives the people who are rushing a major disadvantage added on to their disadvantage they already have of rushing.

Edit: However, I do think it is quite unfair being hit 2-3 times in a leather chestplate and dying after hitting the zombie 6 times with a wooden sword.

 

Hordes are problems, did you ever played in the past like a year ago? There were hordes and that was pretty annoying and everybody was hiding in hordes of zombies.

 

i died more than 1. in full d till i came back cuz of zombies i got shot with barrett and took 1dmg of bleeding and a zombie hits me i died ...

Zombies in my opinion do to much damage, I agree that they should be nerfed a little.

 

I agree, but i dont want those hordes of 100 zombies back, they were so annoying in the past.

 

Why not increase zombies spawning in lower zones higher, making zombie spawn rate in common higher zones but give zombies in higher zones iron or sometimes diamond armor that have a 10-20% chance of dropping said armor, (though they are a rare spawn).
We can also make zombie spawns in the zones like 5-6 common, however based on how many players are within 100 blocks are reduced by a % base amount (caps at a certain amount). So instead of zombies being really annoying, they can also have chances to drop damaged armor :3 (the armor doesn't really have that of durability though).

 

We're trying to base MCWarZ off of DayZ as you know DayZ doesn't have hordes.

Hordes are a bad idea for numerous reasons.
#1 Annoying
#2 Annoying
#3 Can abuse zombie glitch
#4 Annoying

 

Yes, but in DayZ you also can't instant heal.

You only get 3 or 4 hit if you're in leather at zone 6.
