3,000 Gold Drop Party: Saturday

    After getting some votes and feedback from the forums, I will be having a drop party valued at 3,000 gold. It will happen this Saturday, 10:00 am Central (Chicago) time, at spawn. I picked this time so that both the American and European players can join in on the fun.

    Based on the feedback, I will be dropping the following amount of stuff in this order:

    Food: 250 gold worth*
    Pots: 250 gold worth*
    Ores (Dia, Obby, Iron): 500 gold worth*
    Enchanted tools/swords/weapons: 500 gold worth*
    Enchanted Armor: 500 gold worth*

    Gold: 1000 gold(!)

    *Since I have so much in the shop, I only have to pay the 15% tax on most stuff, and that means the item value dropped will be much higher. For instance, I have 1500 iron in the shop as of now and would pay only ~.03 gold per ingot, so that would be 45 gold out of pocket for all of it.

    The reason behind this is because I had a goal of beating @Eil in being the richest player and I blasted that goal massively. Also, I have so much stuff in the shop that prices got driven down and I want to raise prices by effectively dumping supply.

    Oh and I am a nice guy too.

    Also, if you have a bunch of stuff to sell, now is the time. I will be buying the cheapest pots/iron/etc for the drop and if you are the lowest price you will make some sales.

    Where is it gone gone happen though, because if it is on spawn you'll see a ton of noobs with diamonds suddenly. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Best part is when I dropped gold out of spawn protection, Everyone was just starting at it knowing that it was a total gamble to get it...

    I took home 3 stks of gold after the spawn protection massacre

    And i tracked and hunted down 3 people to their bases when they took their loot
    and I looked at the chat so i know who got who, so I would kill them with the op bow I got when they tried to run away with op picks

    I'm richer than ever.
