Customization Ideas

1. There's no point in naming a knife. The next update shows you getting mauled by a icon weapon. Ex: >,/===-

2. Dual wield would be an item and would look pretty bad. It has very little functionality and some of them would be OP. Ex: Dual wield python.

3. I thought that was the point of clan names. Clan names can also be basic prefixes.

 

Yes actually there is a point of naming your knife. It could show up on the screen as "You were killed by Jared using N00bSlayer." It would be funny if you could name guns. If I had a mini gun, I would defiantly name it Sasha... or Fifi...

 

That isn't how the killfeed will work. It shows for example: Cbsusd /"|""" randomcitizen1
It won't use the default kill messages in the chat. Naming a weapon would be pretty pointless.

 

Last time I checked the knife killfeed message was like ex: Daudzoe <|oooooooo BrawlerAce_, so it can't say ex: BrawlerAce_ was slain by Daudzoe using Superknife, but it might be good for the "Killed by" message, ex: Killed by Daudzoe using Superknife

 

Knife naming would be interesting but the only value would be to the player that named it.
Custom class names I favor. Would be neat to designate classes. Sadly you could still just look at what the class includes because they are "Right in your face" then this would defeat the purpose of renaming them, the idea would still be welcomed.
Third idea would make sense to add, would share a little something something with whomever "/profile {name}ed" about yourself. The contest would have to be censored since we do not want vulgar descriptions.

Anything done with renaming items would be pretty much client side, in a way. Nobody but you would ever know about your gun names. It would be like a texture pack that costs credits, only even less useful.

Is that an Eragon reference I am beholding here? Anyways, if it is the swords name is Zar'roc.
