War - Past & Future
This month, the topic of War 2.0 has been addressed directly by the upper staff team and developers. During 2013, the idea of War 2.0, and he managed to finish a more updated version of War than is out now, but it was lacking in some areas. The test server that was released was Orange’s new version of War, however due to lag issues at the end of the match, so he debugged and worked on that, but then a barrier was apparent when Orange stated that he would be extremely busy with school, planning to have the update out by December. He became more and more inactive as a coder, so he was fired, and the job was given over to killer_99, also known as melsha. Once the project was moved to melsha, he begun to work on a fork of Bukkit which would allow him to change the physics of snowballs, such as changing their speed and accuracy with great precision. A lot of work went into switching the servers to his system. For the months to come, he would mainly work on the backend of War, but not make any actual in-game progress with the server. He's a very good developer but he can take it over the top sometimes. He has been halted from working on War, and this takes us to the present day. After Wild West is released out of beta, both Signatured and Mario will be working on War. This information was posted not as an excuse but to allow transparency between the community and the developers. MC-War Map Reward Standard
To have more maps in MC-War, we have created a prize standard for whoever has a map accepted onto the MC-War servers. If you create a map and it is added to the server, you will be credited with $50 to spend on the Brawl shop or 3 months of Global ELITE, it’s your choice. If a team has created a map, the prize will be split between you. If you want to create a map, you may do so on Creative, MinecraftBuild or on Singleplayer. Once you have finished your map and checked for Out of Map spots, then please submit it here. Keep in mind that we do prefer Call of Duty maps - The release of Black Ops 3 is a good time to create remakes - however we will allow custom maps if they flow well with the gamemode type. MC-War Halloween Update
MC-War has been spook-ified again, but in addition to this multiple map fixes have been made, as well as minor things added. First of all, the maze has been changed with a new easter egg, as well as new parkour being added, with easy and hard. As well as this many Out of Map spots have been fixed as well as overpowered spots. Thank you to @Lord_Roke, @DeZilla, @NomNuggetNom, @LeTim and @chickenputty for all making this possible. Hardcore Games Event Summary
To celebrate Halloween, we decided to hold a Hardcore Games event, with both no-soup and soup servers. It was a success with over 79 players participating in the no-soup and almost 100 players in the soup event. Congratulations to Stormleone777 who won the no-soup server and was credited with 1 month of Global ELITE and 4 HG kits. Also congratulations to Fermicula for winning the soup server, and they were credited with 1 month of Global ELITE and 4 HG kits. We look forward to hosting more events. Read more...

Hardcore Games Updates
Many new things have been added as well as fixed this month for HG. First of all, a new team system has been added, making it even easier to team with other players in the game, as well as many other minor sound changes. Many bugs that were in the game have also been fixed, including many kits. Also, the Hardcore Games lobby has been made spooky. Read more...

New Ban Appeal System
A new ban appeal system has been added, which is extremely similar to the way that you can report players. The new ban appeal system is much more efficient and quick both for the member appealing their ban as well as the staff member resolving the appeal.

Next month, we plan on adding some more interesting and exciting articles to Brawl News, rather than have it as a boring summary, there will be something new and unique from every news from November onwards. We would love to here some ideas that you may have as for new articles, and we look forward creating them!
