Our Community needs to rise.

I would like to help the community, and I agree 100 percent Ritzy, we need a BIG change!

 

The only way we can solve this is by starting to ban people for insults.

 

They receive a tempban already but right untill they get unabnned they will propably continue :/

 

The issue here is human nature. Humans are inherently stubborn beings, and that's a constant.

Perhaps this thread might change the views of one person—two if you're lucky. You cannot change a whole community.

The only reason the community is as bad at it is, is because of the competitive nature. Everyone wants to be the best so it leads to things such as:
- teaming
- trash talk
- cheating
- dos

Expect WarZ to ALWAYS be like this. There was never a time where you could say WarZ was a "peaceful non trash talk server". As long as warz remains competitive, people will strive to be the best at any possible cost

 

Hi, i think i have a plan how change everything in Warz (Community, Guns, Map, Loot, Ranks, Teams & Fights).

This plan is just my own opinion / idea! Please dont flame or hate me if you won't like
something of my construction.

1. Community

- Every should think about himself (MrWaffleman Feb. 15 2015)
- It's important to know that you should try to play legal (no ddos)
It's definitly not ok. You should think about it. You are doing
something wich is not legal... just to get advantage in a simple
videogame... (same with Hackclients)
- We are all humans and everyone look's different (Black people are
not different) We should respect our enemy's & friends

2. Guns

- Comboing is something really special but it's really difficult to learn
it
- A lot of people cant learn it because they'll get killed by a guy
who can use different combos...
Just during looting or logging on the Warz servers...
- I mean you should remove the guns or try to change it
- Maybe there some people who played DayZ Mod or the Standalone
i really like this Guns in bouth games

3. Map

- I think the Maps are not ok... on Server 1-5 AND on 6-10..
- [1-5] : - Its to easy to get in highloot zones (Army, Prison...)
- [6-10]: - There are too few town's and the zones are are not good eye divides
- Maybe you could start a contest for very good builder's (i would like to be in it)
(Team with something like 10-15 people)

4. Loot

- The loot is to be distributed better and more accurately (more than just 6 Zones)
- The zone with the highloot shouldn't be directional on cardinal points
- Highloot zones shouldn't be right next to the spawnarea

5. Ranks

- in my opinion there should be just one Donaterrank (for the Enderchest).
- nobody should pay money to use a teleport
- My own idea is a Humanity and Point System:
1. Humanity should be useable to get a kit every time, when you died
1.1 The Hunmanity have to be higher to get better starter kit's (+10.000, +50.000, +100.000, +250.000 ..... )
1.2 I could create the kit's ;-)
2. You can get points for killing Zombies (1) or People (10).. You need 100 (or 50) Points to tpa to somewone for
one time)

6. Teams & Fights

- Please remove the Compass and the friend system
- You could add a teamplugin for just 5 peole in one team (i think a team of max. 5 is absolutly ok)

I played some time's on another DayZ Server and the community
is really helpfull and really really nice. But i like a lot of people in the warz community
and i know that McBrawl can change something.

lol couldn't this all be solved with the removal of the /friend command...? i mean teams are a huge part of the WarZ meta, but if we take out teams, no more "5v1s," no more DoSing prompted by team fights, and hell, nobody would DoS someone in a 1v1 unless they were some trash.

Or, make it be so you can /friend 1 person if you're VIP and 2 people if you're MVP.

As I was saying, teams are probably the root of this problem, just because if you have negative feelings towards something/someone, and a group of people have that same emotion and come together, well, that's gonna get hella amplified, resulting in the beauty of DoS / SWAT / Dox / etc.

And DoS is a vicious cycle. Once someone gets DoS'd, they're like "wtf just happened" and then sometimes, more often than not, "if someone did it to me, i can do it to someone else."

But oh well. This was just the rambling of an old WarZ player. And #THROWBACK to the beginning of the first map, before there were huge teams, and skill giants like iSuccessful, everyone just had a good time. One of my favorite memories of WarZ is when I was going solo, ran into Defiler_69 in the nether (FuzziBunni22, look him up on youtube), and we just decided to **** around and 1v1. The other times we had fought, it was with our teams, and bad **** went down. So not 100% of my faith in WarZ is lost, especially with the amount of trust people generally put into their closest teammates.

 

Also, because of its competitive nature, everyone thinks their the best, and when they die they get upset by that. Which, leads to trash talking

Limit the number of friends or make warz a /team based plugin?

 

no, i feel like it needs to be taken out completely any teaming besides teams of 2 (3 MAYBE but not 4, definitely not 4)

as you'd donate for the ability to /friend people, being ELITE would be a GIGANTIC advantage over VIPs, etc. It'd be more revenue for Brawl, less competitiveness for the community as it would generally be a string of 2v2s / 1v1s.

Or maybe have a weekly reset? Or monthly? Like the EOTW, but more frequent.

 

I find ruining a community fun. WarZ isn't good anymore. All it is is asylum 17v1ing and then hitting people off they know Cana cruelly **** them up. It's the teams that not to be taken down. Not the people who need to change.

Yes, you go m8! Preach it! You should organize a group of people who are truly committed to making a change and have challenges for them to do on the servers. I've done stuff like that before on the forums (The Army of Cats). Shoot for the stars m8!
