Remaking or New Maps

remake all 4, we need refreshing new twists on those maps, especially summit and subbase, they have those spots that people just buy armor and sit and dont move

 

Remake bad looking maps like ambush and countdown.

On a serious note: you should remake and re-balance old maps that were removed.

 

I honestly feel like the blander maps play way better.
Thinks like slabs and grasses just add to lag and complicated shot blocking.

 

Add detail, but not so much that it makes the maps play less smooth. I find building detail would be good. But no slabs or grass like Usp mentioned.

 

I personally feel like seeing Radiation, I feel it's good for any type of gun really.

Are you making these maps by video or console? Just curious.

 

Redo Summit and probably WMD, those maps are in huge need of redo's of how un-balanced they can be.

Here's the thing with adding detail in maps and how to make it run smoothly.
First off, dear god no fire or moving lava/water, if there's a lot of that, it can cause issues.
Snow apparently causes some issues with frame-rate drops, if there's too much snow visible to the person.
That should pretty much be it. Less amount of blocks in the map too (not counting air)

 

Redo all of them besides summit :v I like nuking on it

I actually care less about the new maps, as there are already plenty of maps to play in for all gamemodes, so I'd like to see WMD and summit rebuild.
Put some other nice spots for both teams ( Aswell for infect, zombies win way too easy ).

Estate and Karachi. I was gonna work on invasion, but that is currently on hold so go for it if you want to. also, get some cod 4 maps in like bloc.

 

If you want to work on an old map, do a map from cod 1 or cod 2. That's old school.
