Wait WAYYYY Too Long

    Hey I just wanted to point out that 20 minutes is way too long to wait for a match. Before this was moved to Brawl, it was only 2 minutes. I'm tired of waiting half an hour to play my kits that I bought long ago, only to die. Please reduce the wait times. Thank you.

    The current amount of players on Hardcore Games doesn't make it reasonable to add more servers.
    The more servers there are, the less players per game. If a server would start every 2 minutes, there would be like 5-10 players per game.

    Its better to wait to have a decent game than to have a stagnant one that starts immediately :smile:

    I don't really think there's enough players to justify lowering the timer from what it is now. Maybe if the player count reached (x) amount of players the timer would go down, but that's the only way I could see it working.

    The OP didn't mention adding more servers?

    Ever heard of a staggered countdown?

    If it hit a certain number of players to accelerate the timer, then it would work - otherwise there simply wouldn't be enough players.

    Doesn't it do that now? At least the other day I thought I saw a few games go from 20+ minutes to 5 minutes. I assumed it's because they hit a player threshold, but maybe there was a mod on who just manually reduced the time and I didn't notice.

    That is the case now, yes :smile:

    As far as I know, when the player count hits 10+, the timer drops to 5 minutes :smile:
