Old Maps vs New Maps

New map:

+Easy to get good loot.
+Smaller size than the old map, less walking.
+Community-made locations

-You die twice as fast
-The map still feels a bit rushed, even after a while of updates
-Plagued by donators




Old map:

+Memorable and classic locations that bring in nostalgia.
+Great skill scaling
+Lots of locations and much more freedom along with less forced routes

-Lots of walking to be done
-Locations haven't aged that well
-Constant donator superiority and ZERO skill involved.



I'll take the old map solely because I'm a nomadic person who hates constant action.

 

I prefer the old map for fighting, but if ur talking getting Barrett spas in 5 minutes go on the new.

 

I prefer the new maps because it's very easy to get alive...on the old maps you have to run across the whole map...once at nether you will probably die from someone camping their.

 

I'm a fan of the old map because I have a lot of history on it. From my first full d kill, to my first major team, etc. Old Map also has a lot of fights because of the old players that play it. There are teams that there is barely any skill in but there are also teams that have a small amount of members, and need to know strategy to kill, not just rush and we'll eventually kill them because of the numbers.

The New Map I feel as if is better for the members of the community that are just getting on to play, because it's a lot easier for them to learn the basis of the game. Get loot, know the knowledge of the map, get to zone 6's easier, etc.

Old map more calmer, much more bigger.

New map more action packed and salty :v.

New map is essentially smaller where if you are in the mood for a fight you can run from army to snow to indust to nether in the time span of 20 minutes and search for the fight that you're looking for. Old map is more of a map where you need a little more game sense and game strategy. Two completely different play styles.

 

@WarSkater brings up really great points. Old maps are where I began playing. They may take forever to get to snow or nether but that is where the memories are. They are usually action packed aswell.

 

I rather big fights on old map, but chill fights at new map

 

New Map:
Full diamond skids at noob town
I can run to nether with my starter food
Impossible to camp when in a 69v1 situation.
Really crap map in general
Basically no fun at all
Old Map:
Really big and its a challenge to get alive
No full diamonds at lower tier towns (most of the time)
Nether is the most fun place to have a war
Snow is good for camping 69v1 and so is nether tower.
Very well built, looks like a lot of effort was put in.

 

Old is too bigggg
New is the right size

Old map for the win, I'm more used to it and i know it like the back of my hand

 

I came to know WarZ on the old map so its somewhat special to me.
