Old times on War: What do you remember most?

You know what? Might sound corny, but i miss the community. People actually cared about each other in the clans, it wasnt just every man with his high kdr high ego and lack of skill. People had fun together, made new friends with the clan members.

One other thing i miss is the amount of players. I would wake up in the morning, go on Minecraft, to see that there was 850 people on MC-War (This was before the hub came, and it was when i was a little scrub that didnt know how to go to different war servers) . 850 people. When i wake up now, i see 250 people, IF im lucky. and thats on the WHOLE brawl. now theres 850 people in total on brawl most of the time. I miss the days when all the servers were packed, and you could really enjoy the feel of a great, huge community. Now you just see the same people over and over again.

I miss the fact that nukes and EMP's where actually rare. Only the players with the highest amount of skill got nukes. I took me alot of time to even get my first EMP haha.

And ofc because im an ez nub, i miss that the barret noscoped with perfect aim, and one shotted everybody.

One thing i do not miss is the law. If you saw a law you were done lmao XD . OP'est **** ive ever seen. Never had it sadly

Idk bout you but if you look in the background, you see its still the same spawn :V that spawn isnt old :V

 

What I remember the most huh. All the insults and rage towards me and all my other friends. That sums it up pretty nice.

 

What I remember the best about the old war was when the spawn was forest-themed, your stats were always displayed on top of the chat, and since you could take damage in the spawn and the parkour had little pools for safe landing, "drown parties" were common. It was also a time when I didn't know that the slowness from left clicking was to increase accuracy and I didn't realize why my guns were so inaccurate until I was about level 24.

 

Playing with absolutely no idea what I was doing. It wasn't that long ago, I was on a dustbowl map i think with a wooden hoe (i didnt use the texture pack at the time), and kept getting killed. I quit.

In July I took up the initiative to finally learn how to play and got hooked.

 

When I nuked with a PC that had 1GB of RAM. My life is complete. And when I got JMod for war too. That was extremely fun

I remember making lots of friends back in 2012 (Such as @MafiaFerret ) and really looking up to @marcel18167 . Also, after running a max of 10 frames on the smallest render distance (Old dell from 2000 with 2 gigs of ram) finally getting a laptop that could run like 30 frames, and with that laptop getting my first NUKE on underground without anything donator. I also miss all those old maps, like OilFavtory (By far my favorite), ShipBattle, DustBowls (TMD/CTF) etc. Those were the good old days. c:
EDIT: And owning ONE, the largest clan of its time.

 

What is ShipBattle?

 

A very old map where there were two pirate ships next to each other, and you'd battle from ship to ship. I always loved camping on the sails. c:

 

I think I had way too many great moments here in mc-war, mc-war is part of my childhood and it always will be, same goes for all the friends I made over the years, well here are some of the best moments I had=
1. Figuring out how to shoot from spawn to spawn with the old law, the law rocked dropped after a few seconds, so I shot into the air and ended up getting kills, I was like what on earth is going on? That's when I started to use it ingame for 3 days I think, I showed this to @MafiaFerret and we decided to not show this to anyone, because it just was way too OP.

2. Huge Group calls, I can't really remember when this happened but I was in a skype call with 30 other Pro players (very good players), and we all decided to not kill each other, so this may even was the one game where both teams were spawntrapping at the same time xD

3. Getting teached by I_AM_THE_ZOMBIE, yes he was my senpai, and I looked up to him, he was really good so I started to copy him Parts of my movement are still from him.

4. Overall meeting new players, I meet new players every day and the community of mc-war just never really changed everyone is really nice and you can pretty much talk to everyone.

 

When you looked at the leaderboards and Pistolparrot was level 109, Marcel was 78 and the lowest level on top 25 was like 54. I ran around on maps using the M1014 as my favorite weapon, and rekkin people with my 0.2 kdr. Also I remember seeing someone with a yellow clantag was really rare and they were probably insane at the game. I like how I told all my friends to never use the 2nd shotgun (spas12), because it was bad and only the first shotgun was good, I also remember my first EVER EMP with moddel on Meltdown, when I was level 25. And the best about everything, was when you could sneak peak and maybe see a little bit of the new prestige guns that were coming soon. Oh those times were the good times...
Also I remember being in the clan CAPS, which was very special for me

Yea OilFactory and Blowout was my favorite maps.

Also when my irl (and online) friends still played.
Not sure about my best moment, I've had so many great ones, <3 war.
