Favorite type of base?

I like the base that no one can find.

To be honest, a double chest in the sky is amazing.

 

The ones that looks pretty and are functional.

 

I have several different types of bases I use:

1) My raid/smelting breakdown base. This base is used to smelt ores, and store raided items before sale. It has an interesting system of hoppers to help stack like items for sale. This is why you see large stacks of stuff when I put them in the shop.

2) Resource gathering base. This base might include villagers, a farm of some sort and an autobrewer. This setup allows me to take advantage of loaded chunks while autobrewing or villager trading to grow food and netherwart.

3) Item repair/enchanting base. This base is usually a tiny speck of a base, with an enchanting table and anvil to enchant or repair items. If I have a nicely enchanted piece that's about ready to break, I store it there until I have enough levels to fix it. I also store unrepaired tools/armor form raids, until I can find another like piece to repair it with.

4) OP storage base. This base is several droppers with all my OP in them. (As you can tell I usually sell OP, and only buy what I need).

5) AFK base. This is usually nothing more than a hole in the ground where I may have an anvil, but I go there to do all my sales, purchases, and manipulating of the economy. This is where I want to be tracked to, and this is a base I am very comfortable at losing.

So as you can see for me, I have different bases for different reasons...

 

I like sky bases they're fun to jump off the edge then land in the water x3

 

I personally like nether bases. They are pretty hard to find, and most people don't think of travelling to them.

 

Is survival pvp fun? It sounds so

They are hard to find. The top of the nether ones are the best. Ah underground ones are good too, pretty hard to fine. Last one go in to a lava pit and dig down, hardest one to find.

 

Nether bases. I have several, none of which have been raided in the few months I have had them. Simple and efficient.

 

It depends on what your kind of fun is. If you're into action packed PvP and Survival, well I guess you could say it's called Survival PvP for a reason, because it's exactly that. If you enjoy those things then I would recommend it.

 

My theory is if I can separate all of these functions out, and something gets raided, I'm not out all my stuff. Since I have tons of warps, I can spread my risk out...

 

Well for people who like PvPing and going vanilla. I mainly like it for that reason.

 

I like sky bases. It is always fun to put blocks underneath them and watch the people fall onto the block, when they think it is still water.

 

I like underground bases more since I've made 10 in this world (I accidentally deleted a warp that had 25 dubs of stone swords -.- and i had deleted 3 warps with bases but I have coords to them. 1 of them is xrayed, i checked last week, and the other 2 are still standing probably since i put lapis and redstone and lava layers.

Oracle raided a base of mine that was underground, I was pissed cause it had a secret vault that he blew up, and it was full of useful tools like 10 brewing stands (eZ to replace, but he took my blaze rods and cobble too.) and tons of pickaxes.

Plus I have created 5 skybases, I number them like "sky3" which is my opish vault, and sky2 is the sexy one that I had to delete a warp to :<
Sky was raided, it was my iron sword and pickaxe base, and I used to spawn there and sky4 is a mooshie base which i spawn in atm, it was very makeshift and ugly, it was on top of my non functional no spawner xp farm, which has 2 large chests(there used to be 30 chests but i made sky3, a mooshie and a crappy farm. #thanksobama

 

I like compact, functional bases built with a more modern design in mind. Having them in the nether under a pool of lava is a bonus.

 

Mine is ugly small (2x5) but functional, I use droppers for xrayers not to see since they mostly look for chests, I make my base really compact and keep the droppers sorted, then the ugly part... The only thing see in my base are droppers, a crafting bench, brewing stand and some other stuff aswell as a bit of stone.

 

I would imagine you would like dog houses

 

Favorite base... Well, everyone hates nether travel, so I love making bases really far out in the nether, and warping to it like its a vault, keep doing this for weeks, until someone eventually manages to track it, they are so excited cause they think its a vault... then its a hole in the ground with a crafting table

 

i like xrayed bases

 

I love my sky bases made out of only chests.
It can't be xrayed!
It can't be found unless it's tracked (or you leave a tower going up to them)
