    So i think i found out what my lag problem is. But then again not quite. I found out that when i use a texture pack with High resolution items like 128x128 or 256x256 my tick thing on the debug screen profiler Sky rockets. When i press into the tick, 99% of all the work is on "textures". When i press into that, it just says "unspecified". What can i do to fix this? its really pissing me off that i can only use 16x16 t packs.

    You probably need a new graphics card to be able to run a high definition texture pack.

    I have no problem running high level texture packs.

    You should try installing OptiFine Ultra, it really helps with performance. I'm serious, I got modded Minecraft to run on a Lenovo Thinkpad using this mod to improve the framerate.

    The thing is that 2 weeks ago i had no problems at all. 128x128 packs ran as smooth as 16x16. It justhappened when i changed my tpack once..

    If you have a system mark somewhere close to about 2 weeks back, try a rollback (system restore). It may help somehow, if not, think what graphical or any modifications you have made since the time it ran smoothly, and the time it started acting up.

    Also, I would look to make sure your GPU drivers are up to date, if you haven't already, probably not the cause but always good to check regardless.
