    Sup Fellas,

    When games get a little boring I created my own entertainment by calling out "protect the Mod."

    This could be develop into a game mode where you protect one person and if they die everyone on that side loses.

    The protected person could be randomly selected.

    Typically when I do this I'm on the hip of that one person. Rarely do they die, unless they do something silly. It's an interesting concept to focus on another person than just yourself. In some ways, I feel it makes you a more situational alert player which ups your game.

    I've been doing this since I started playing and the Mods love it. Team members also like it because it gets them all thinking in a different mindset.

    Try it some time!

    It's fun in infect and TDM and it can rally a team from acting as individual contributors to working as a team with a single purpose.

    Something similar to this was alpha tested on McPvP (wasn't with guns, but same idea). Problem is, all it takes is for the protected person to be bad at the game or a troll and it ruins it for everyone.

    You said teaming... Now your probably on the wrong server xD Most McWar players dont know how to team at all...
    Realy nice idea though, i might try it some time :V.

    It shouldn't honestly be called ''Protect the mod'' It should be ''Make sure the noob does not screw us over''

    Originally, I would do this with Mods.

    In the game mode I am invisioning, it could be called "Protect" with the person being randomly generated.

    Ideally, this would get teams to communicate more and play selfless.

    I can see the similiarities and it would be similar if people actually captured the flag. The distinct difference is that this is a designated person, so people would have to take action there.

    The reason I think this is different is that people often play CTF like TDM and rarely capture the flag because they are trying to nuke.

    There could be restrictions on who is selected, as in 45+ and a 2.0 kdr, to reduce the amount of this happening.

    I think committing suicide wouldn't be allowed in this case.
    If the player leaves, a new player will be chosen to balance the game. Though this can also be exploited: When a player almost dies he leaves so another player will be chosen, and the enemies have to look for this person again.

    I reall do think that it's an awesome idea, it's just that it is Very unbalanced...

    Actually, older and more well known players have a higher chance of being a troll since they know what they have to do to annoy someone else.
