Idea WarZ KOTH?

I think this is a cool idea, similar to when Way2 would run the staff vs player. If only we had an event manager

 

What happened to way2?

 

I am pretty sure he resigned.

 

Mario did something like this about a month ago. The servers lagged too hard. We should worry more about upgrading the servers if they can't hold 30+ people on than events.

 

optimization is not the issue. adding KOTHs wouldn't fight gameplay style imo

 

KOTHs wouldn't go well with WarZ. Someone could be standing out of render distance just shooting a barret at the capture point. It's also way to easy to die, unlike sword pvp when you can pot/soup up.

 

I think KOTH would be a fun implementation if it was designed right however something along the lines of domination in which 2 teams fight to capture 3 points, and the team who owns 2 of the designated points at the end of say 5 minutes wins that match in which another team would face the winning one.

 

Seems way over complicated for a server like WarZ.

 

Well just an idea, another idea for KOTH is to just take out the use of sniper rifles and keep it close range so you don't have the people standing at the edge sniping.

 

Maybe have an event server with KOTHS? /kit koth (MODS+ give to you) Only reason I say this is because of the feedback given above.

 

I know another WarZ practice server that has this or atleast is going to have it and I would have to see how it works there.

 

Yes it makes the kills rewarding but they just added the drop creates which can be op and there are a lot of people ignoring over it so it would be a plus too. Though you have the op teams who kill everyone and also people who camp at spawns I don't know if it would be a good idea.
