Chat Report Command

    Chat Report Command​

    We've added a new command that will assist greatly in your ability to report rule breakers. That command being, "/chatreport <player> <reason>". This command will send the last 30 lines of a player's chat to the report system where a Moderator can evaluate it.

    What this means is that if a player is breaking a chat rule (death threats, DDoS threats, major disrespect, advertising, etc) you may use this command to report them. In the past, we had to deny most screenshots submitted due to players being able to fake them. However with this command, chat reports can no longer be faked.

    This command is quite major in assisting the staff to be able to keep the server chat clean when they are not present. We greatly appreciate your assistance in ridding the server of rule breakers. Keep in mind though, this command is for more severe violations. We still want you to try to gain the attention of a staff member (via /report, TeamSpeak, etc) if the player is just trolling or annoying everyone.

    This is beautiful.

    On a side note of news.. WarZ players have become so salty that they report anything from a :^) to someone talking about a soda can in hopes of getting that person muted/banned. More news at 11, back to you Putty.

    There is only one problem: players could abuse that command and just spam it for fun. You should add a punishment if sombody does so.

    Yes, This will be so helpful, Allways when there is a spammer on, And We get a staff on, the player will stop. Then start as soon as the staff leaves. :v, And how long will the punishments be? Some players might spam accuse peaple When there not really spamming.

    Wait but Trial-Jmods have to moderate the chat in the server... wouldn't this ruin it a little bit?

    When a JMod isn't online, Mods still have to moderate chat as if they were a JMod as well as performing regular Moderation duties.

    This would help for whenever a JMOD+ isn't online and someone commits a serious chat offense. We'd urge you to use /report if they continuously do it but it makes it super easy to check if they have if it's sent in as a report, and we can punish them accordingly.

    This is probably the best thing to happen to Brawl in the last three months. This is exactly the kind of thing we need and maybe now we actually have a good chance at clearing up the DDoSing problem in WarZ, once and for all. Thank you all so much for this.
