Idea Increasing Xp Drop for the looting enchant

Would this ruin the vanilla feel too much? People have complained a lot about the 1.8 enchanting being too easy. Would this add to this problem?

 

It was a point that is quite controversial between the community. I think it needed to be brought up. In now way was I trying to be sarcastic. The server is very vanilla in my opinion. It of course has some exceptions, but try to find another server as vanilla as this one. Brawl does a very good job at maintaining the vanilla feel in my opinion, and I personally think that this would ruin that feel.

 

Well there are 2 things here.
First off: enchanting in 1.8 got extremely easy because it doesn't take away all your XP anymore and because you can see atleast one of the enchants you'll be getting. Increasing the XP drop rate would be an easier way to enchant.
Secondly: it is pretty hard to get a ton of XP when you don't have a spider XP farm or even worse, not even a XP at all. It takes a long time to get to level 30 (or higher for catching mobs), it would be worth getting looting III and using it to level up faster.

I'm not sure which one would be best so I'm not gone decide which side I choose.

I actually think this would be a cool idea now (despite my previous posts). This would make getting p4 easier, yes, but that would/could increase the number of OP fights as people wouldn't save all their precious p4. Besides, looting 3 is somewhat rare, and it would be something to try to get.
