M8, SPvP has gone to **** in the last 3/2 months. It's laggy, rarely any MOD's, a lot of bugs, under 70% game speed and of course BrawlBot who bans every person that doesn't hack, which creates a ton of lag too. Wouldn't recommend playing SPvP, and after the reset the best and friendliest players are gone quit.

Survival is useful if you want to practice your soup lag.

I have to agree the lag is pretty bad.

I think it is unfair to say that Survival is usually laggy. Recently, all of Brawl has been laggy due to issues with the host, and other complications. The only real bug I can think of at the moment that is annoying is sponges - but they aren't game breaking or anything. Survival is a bit rough at the moment, yes, but it isn't always like this and will be fixed soon.

Piggyback riding off of this, I agree. Global lag is a problem right now, and most of it is actually due to our host, OVH. To say that spvp is bad? I believe these are based solely off of opinion and not factual evidence. On many weekends, spvp can reach the top 3 gamemodes, player count wise. There are updates coming in the form of a reset (a new seeded world that is updated to 1.8) which shows that staff have not forgotten about the gamemode. Do not allow your very short experience with spvp, where you most likely stepped off spawn and were killed by another player, or the lag that has been causing issues only very recently, to swing your vote. I encourage every person reading this to think of spvp with an open, unbiased mind.

The lag has been better lately so I don't think pvp is bad at all. It just depends on if you like survival games or not I guess.
