Killing w/ spawn protection.

But it should be there on ctf and tdm, to prevent spawnprot. It's there for a reason. It's not funny to spend 1 game spawntraped...

And if your complaining on FIVE secs, Your to close to there spawn, just move back and don't spawn camp, ;/

I agree with everyone that spawn protection helps with TDM AND CTF. I do think that on FFA and Gun Game there should be spawn protection.

Long story short they're invincible for 3 seconds which seems a bit... unfair don't you think. I idiotically forgot to add in what would fix this. So my idea of fixing this would be to jam their weapons for as long as they have spawn protection. What this means is that they cannot get spawn killed nor can they kill someone freely.
Bit unfair jamming guns means they can only knife so no thats a bad idea but i can tell you want spawn prot to be reduced.

It seems to me that taking out spawn protection would have major downsides and upsides. It would be a very risky thing to do.

I do really like Firestorm's idea of when you shoot, it takes away the spawn protection. It would keep the spawn trapping down all while making it much more fun in FFA and gungame.

I really don't understand how this went from killing with spawn protection to having no spawn protection. Why the **** shouldn't there be spawn protection. My point is you shouldn't be able to kill while protected. Simple.

If there was no spawn protection, and your team was getting spawn trapped, it would be VERY unfair as whenever you spawn in you die. I also like the spawn protection if I am going to sui on infected; It gives he a little advantage and makes flanking that little bit easier.

Spawn protection is not going to be removed in my opinion. Maps that are open lie Seatown I think on all sides would be op since you could charge forward with minigun and nuke 1, nuke again, nuke again. 3 second spawn prot is appropriate amount of time. If you lose your nuke due to spawn prot, pro tip, don't get close to their spawn. Fit yourself in a suitable position where you can kill the opponent while being in a safe spot away from spawn protected players.

This is I believe a good thing for some maps but can be agreeable for others.
