    Hey yall! Thought I'd get off my butt and actually be creative for once so I have an idea for a gamemode. Yep, the title says it all; hide and seek!
    So the way this works is 1/5 of the people playing are the seekers. They are trapped in a separate room while the other 4/5 hides. They can become different entities like the chameleon kit on hardcore games. After a short time limit, the seekers are released and it's their job to find (kill) the hiders! The game ends when either all the hiders are eliminated, or time runs out with at least one hider still hiding.
    This is just an idea, but I hope you'll take the time to consider it. Let me know what you all think in the comments! I'll answer any and all questions to the best of my ability.

    I don't play party but I guess it wouldn't hurt to add hide 'n' seek :smile:

    I think it's a good idea, but I think it would be better as another game mode. It seems like the games would take too long

    I like the idea, would be so much fun. Or maybe block hunt? Its on the big servers if you havent played it b4.

    It doesn't work like that. Because you'd be taking on the form of a block. I don't think they allow you to see people in blocks

    If the blocks are FallingSand entities, those can be xrayed.
    what if nobody online has the brain to report them?

    There will always be hackers. Just because people could possibly x-ray in this game doesn't mean that this is going to be the only game with hackers in it.

    I think that this sounds exactly like what Mineplex already has (Block Hunt) and is too similar to Infection Tag.

    Iv made an idea I think is kinda like this, and I like it.
    In my idea I said people can turn into different kinds of blocks, and the seekers go look for them.
    Is it like that?

    Yep! But I'm beginning to see that it might be too long of a game. And mineplex has it? That's upsetting. I had the idea first!

    I've seen many other servers with this kind of gamemode. Perhaps to not entirely "Copy" the game we can have a tiny twist, like we have players as players, but their name tags will not be showing (seekers have their names shown). Players can maybe set fake copies of themselves across the map to act as decoy or something.

    Yes. They'd have to have a timer. Because otherwise- oh shoot I just realized this couldn't possibly work. We'd have a lot of winners...

    Oh yeah, that's true. I'm sure, if you thought of a way around that, and the time, then it would be good. But, I have no clue how'd you work around those things XD

    I love the idea! But wouldn't you wonder how long it will take? It takes a while to do a Infection match or those big games. How long will it take to do this? Thats my question to you. Anyways I love this idea!
