DDay and Erosion

DDay is a Little little bit unfair yes, But as it is a remake of the actual dday and omaha beach landings during WW2 allot of people died, ALLOT OF PEOPLE, so its hard to make it fair...


And I don't remember the map called Erosion so I have no idea...
But yea let some other people say their oppinions.

I agree with out about erosion, but not about DDay. For erosion, it is extremely small and it is very hard to get any kills because the spawn protection protects most people because practically everyone gets killed fairly quickly unless they have a good spot which is hard to get to. The game ends pretty quickly also again, because so many people get killed so fast.

On the topic of DDay, I think it should stay. Even though I made a rant-like thread about it, it shouldn't be out of the map rotation all together. If you know what you're doing, there are actually some pretty good spots on the red side. As for people that don't know how to get to those spots, it may be annoying.

DDay is supposed to be unfair. It's based on an actual historical event, and the attacking side suffered major casualties and were at severe disadvantage in terrain. As for erosion.. I don't think I've played it.

 

I love dday, it brings back memories of the old one. Nuking on red isn't a large problem for me. I can kind of agree with erosion, but a lot of players like it and I love cbow spamming.

 

The teams are balanced wich the real ones weren't, so if there were as many germans as allied, red would win, and they had more time than 5 mins to do it, And the real deal whas more hard to qoncuer than the map..

The invasion of Normandy was one of the most difficult war events ever. Just because the USA and allied forces won in real life, the Nazis chance to win was about 1 in 50 (estimated for the first wave) because there was everything against them (You can read about it here if you want).

In the DDay map, there weren't any turrets or land mines or anything of the sort. All there is to face is the other team. This gives a disadvantage because they have to land with enemies on the cliffs and all that, but there aren't any other unfair disadvantages. It is much easier in the DDay map in Mc-War than in real life. The USA and allied forces pulled it off, so there is always a chance for the red team. In personal experience, I've nuked very few times on the red team, but that doesn't change that I did it. You can do it if you put your mind to it.

dday is totally fine. erosion is easy to fix, just lower the player count for that map. I have no idea why it's so high.
