Lemme give you a hint. When you've been a forumer for less than 2 weeks, you ain't old yet.
If you were apart of the community 2-3 years ago, then you can be old. Bonus points if you knew who @Tac42 was.

This is so true. I have no idea who's staff anymore. I couldn't name you a single Mod under S-Mod level (or whatever they call the orange namers these days). Staff team just changes too fast.

It seems that if you dropped the flatout b*tchy attitude, we'd be more incline to not use big words like considered.

 

But either way, forums determines a lot of how old a player you are. You can be a lot "older" if you've been on the forums since day 1 but only for a year than if you joined the forums 2 years after your joined the server. Considering I've never heard of you and I've been a member since before 2013, I'd say that whether or not YOU care, the rest of us DO.

 

I like how you ask us if you're an old player then yell at us when you get the answer you aren't looking for.

I would say that two years makes one an oldie. However, it's best if that oldie was on the forums for a good amount of time as well. I started playing multiplayer servers Spring 2013. I joined the forums September of that year. I'm not one of the foundational oldies like Brawler, Tac, or Majora, but I would say that I'm considered an oldie by just about everyone excluding the really old players.

The only issue is that this it's really hard to judge if a player is considered old if nobody knows who they are. The forums are a large part of what makes players well known. This is the forums community you are asking as well, so obviously it's going to be difficult to ignore the factor that the forums plays. If it's any consolation to you, yes, technically you would be considered an old player if that refers to in-game only. However, the Brawl community is more than just in-game, so an old Brawl community member has been playing and been on the forums for a long time. Maybe you should ask people in-game if you are old? If you are well-known on the servers, that should tell you something. But if you ignore popularity and forums stuff, yes, I suppose you can call yourself an old player if you have been playing for two years...
