NOTE: This is a story about a Brawl game that was removed about a year ago, and the story is based in a map called Snowbound.

I felt a rush of nausea upon the very fast altitude drop. I normally like the feeling of falling. I've gotten used to it after many missions in the Seal Team. I was flying with one other Seal, @SweetLava. Our job was to annihilate a nearby Russian arms dealer base. I'd never flown so close to the ground in Moscow. I had a clear view of the buildings, even with snow pelting my windshield. Normally, massive towns like this had people visible. But this was a war zone, and I knew I had to focus. We were 2.7K meters from the targeted building, when we spotted an aberration. We could make out a few people dressed in heavily black clothing down below us. The seemed like regular civilians. I looked ahead, the building was now in our sights. And then from out of a building window, flew 2 missiles directly at me and SweetLava.

I slammed my palms onto the eject pads, and the whiplash of flying upwards followed soon after. I didn't see what happened to SweetLava, put I heard both planes explode. I steered my parachute towards where SweetLava's plane, and saw the wreckage crash in the snow. I glanced upward to see her with an open parachute, yet still quickly descending. She plummeted past me, and I managed to get a glimpse of bullet holes in her parachute.

She was soaring towards what I could distinguish as an old ice breaker boat. It looked completely abandoned, and likely hadn't been used in decades. SweetLava had zero control over her direction. But I did. I steered towards where she was plummeting to. I lost sight of her as she descended over a snow mound, but I was only a few hundred meters from the large boat, and if she was okay, I would know. I landed in a snow drift, and detached my parachute. I decided calling her name was a bad idea, since hostile Russian's could still be close. I saw her parachute in the snow, and right below it was SweetLava. Perfectly intact, and smiling.
"A few meters of snow, it's like landing on a pillow."

I looked around, I could see a mountain towards the west, and an old civilian bridge to the east. The old ice breaker was only a few feet away. I heard a massive metallic echo as a placed my foot on the hull of the ship. I stepped on with both legs, and decided it was safe enough to explore. I headed towards the stern of the ship, while SweetLava stood guard. I reached what would have been the captain's deck, when the ship actually worked. I opened the door, and heard a loud, ear splitting creak. It was pitch black inside the corridors. But I could see a supply container just within illumination. I slowly stepped over to it, and pried it open. What was inside, elated me beyond anything else ever had. The container was full of edible rations, which meant me and SweetLava still had a chance at survival.

I pulled a few of the cans out, all of them were beans. They were frozen rock solid, but I knew we had the tools to fix that. I quickly went back outside to give SweetLava part of the load. I had taken about six cans, we each took three. I decided we should keep moving, and call the Seal Team headquarters and request evacuaction. I knew even if they got the message, it would be a day or two before back-up arrived. I decided we should go towards the towering bridge, if any cars were abandoned on it, checking the bridge out could end up being quite lucrative. There was a huge snow drift leading up to a place that we could climb onto the bridge. Making the climb would require a lot of caution, one wrong foot placement and the entire drift could collapse. Was it worth the risk? I turned to SweetLava, who was nervously looking at the mound of snow. We weren't equipped for that kind of job. We were never even supposed to be on the ground.

We chose to walk below the bridge until there was a better elevation point, that would be easier for us to climb onto. We started walking away from the ship, in the direction the bridge was coming from. The snow sank at least a foot deep with every step, our equipment for what should have been a jet seat, was now being soaked by the snow. The bridge ran through what looked like a large part of the city. From the angle we were looking at it from, we couldn't see anything that was on it.
We walked for about at least half an hour, until SweetLava spotted another drift, a small one easy enough for us to use. I clambered up, until I grasped the a ledge, and hauled myself up. SweetLava reached up, and I took her hand and pulled her onto the bridge.

We were standing in some kind of frosted over traffic jam. Cars were dotted along the bridge, all of them had no passengers, and were half buried in snow. There were no frost-bitten corpses inside the vehicles, or any other sign of a disaster. They must have been evacuated from the vehicles, before they all got off the bridge. "Let's go that way," said SweetLava. She was pointing in the opposite direction of traffic, so still heading away from the old ice breaker ship. I then remembered that we had no weapons, other then small hand-guns. This mission was never meant to be terrestrial. I made up my mind that the best option was to keep moving.
We had been travelling on the bridge for only a few minutes, we we spotted a military vehicle, and a few people standing next to it.

I quickly ducked behind a car, pulling SweetLava with me. I listened in on what they were saying, and to my surprise they weren't speaking Russian. "We'll take the first load to base, then get the rest of the packages." said one of them. "How many more are there?" said the second. "We're supposed to pick up a at least 12 more items in the ballistic category." replied the first. "What's the ballistic category?" said the second. "It's pretty much guns and explosives, and ammunition"
My heart skipped a beat. I fumbled with my side pocket until a had a grip on my small pistol. I checked if it was loaded, and it was. I clipped the ammunition back in, and motioned for SweetLava to do the same. I slowly glanced the car windows, until I saw where the two men were. And I commando rolled out of cover, and took aim.

Two shots echoed through the air. I stood up, brushed the snow off myself. And ran over to the vehicle. SweetLava cautiously followed. I got in the front seat, and I picked up the radio. I knew the first thing I had to do, was call HQ. I gave the radio to SweetLava, so she could make the call, while I looked around the rest of the vehicle. I walked around to the back of the truck, and opened the trunk. It was full of every kind of firearm a human could think of. I picked up an automatic rifle, seeing the letters FAMAS on the side. Ammunition was also kept in the back trunk. SweetLava came to my side and said "The call is made, an evacuation helicopter should arrive in less then a day. She studied the arsenal of weapons, and picked up a medium sized rifle. She also picked out a scope, and clipped it onto her rifle. "HQ said the helicopter would land close to an old passenger plane that was shot down a few years ago. It's west of our current position" said SweetLava. "That sounds easy to find," I said.
    "Let's move."

The large buildings towered around us. The fact that enemy snipers could be in any window made me shiver. I tried to shake the feeling off, and stay alert incase any hostiles showed up. I heard voices coming from what seeming like all directions at the same time. Someone was close, and it was a matter of time before we met them face to face. I could see a clearing where the plane could be, my excitement was high, but it was still a long walk from here. Just as I was about to suggest we pick up the pace, four people came around a corner, all of them with guns raised.

One of them through a black object straight at me and SweetLava, I recognized it immediately.
I squeezed me eyes shut, and put my hand over SweetLava's as the FlashBang grenade went of. After a few seconds, I opened my eyes and faced our attackers. I lifted my Famas, and squeezed the trigger, simultaneously, three rounds erupted from the gun, it was a burst fire. Knowing that would have been useful BEFORE we engaged the hostiles. The first attacker was pelted by the first two bursts, and landed in the snow. The second hurled a small throwing axe at me. I dropped to the snow, dodging the weapon. The same attacker pulled out two hand-guns, and open fired at me.

I rolled out of his line of fire, and fired a burst at him. Two down. One attacker, who was kneeling farther behind the other four heaved an RPG onto his shoulder. It had one shot, and he fired. The rocket impaled the snow just barley to my left. The slush of melted snow erupted in all directions. The man who fired the rocket dropped the RPG and drew a sniper. While the other began re-loading his hand-guns. But that was his mistake. While he was distracted, I sent another burst. Which hit its target. Three down. The first shot from the hostile sniper whistled past my ear. He was about to fire the next shot, but SweetLava fired first. She stood up, and we both ran towards the clearing.

It wasn't as long as I thought it would take to get there, but we had arrived. There was
incisively a plane half buried in snow right in front of us. We were at the evacuation point! Not long after we had gotten there, we heard the sound of a helicopter approaching. And I knew it wasn't long before me and SweetLava would be safe.

Yeah, you should make some Mc-War stories and like CTF and other things. I think you're the best Canadian author i've ever seen! Probably because you are the only Canadian that I know. But still, become an author, you have a real talent.

And flying in to rescue them was the Evil Overlord and his ultimate team of badasses.

They were loaded with Nukes, EMP's, Mini guns, armor, Molotovs, sharp sticks and they could hear the rock rock music blaring from the helicopter....

    The Black Ops A-Team of @Lekosa1, @PoixMine , @Vincz , @rocktomb34 , @Pyrotheum , and @Nezzr were ready to do some major damage...

    Loved your story!
