1.7 or 1.9

We can't go back to 1.7 because when we updated to 1.8 we switched a lot of the coding and plugins. To go back would impact not just spvp.

 

Brawl will be adding 1.9 because dumb little kids don't know how to change Minecraft versions so when they log on brawl, its Incompatible because they're using "Use Latest Version" which is 1.9 at the moment when Brawl is currently 1.8. So Chap needs to update to 1.9 to make his money and screw the real players. ( While Kohi is compatible with all versions but recommended 1.7 and they have over 1500 players a day LOL )

 

That's why there's less people playing ctf and SPVP and yes all other servers to but I only care about the two I play also warz

 

@chickenputty Just take a look at the poll, People would rather have 1.8 over 1.9. You guys are adding a worthless version and Brawl will get less and less players everyday which means Chap gets no money, Take a look when 1.7 was out, 300 Players aday, We barely get 60 players in the afternoons now.

The cooldown makes soup fights last forever and and makes it so that the person with the most lag wins (seriously, it is true).

Make Brawls Survival PvP 1.7 which is what it should be but make it compatible for 1.8 and 1.9 clients...

 

Notch just probably got tired of parents suing him for having thier kids fingers and mouses broken!

 

Actually kid's fingers don't break by jitter-clicking. They break because they play sports or do something stupid outside. Mice don't break either because they are designed to handle jitter-clicking now. Anyway the reason Minecraft 1.9 came out was purely to make money off of noobs by having them buy new accounts for their friends and paying for Minecraft realms so they can try out the new features with their friends.

 

I'm all for the Update. Lately, Minecraft hasn't really appealed to me due to lack of new content (I've done nearly everything by now).

1.9 Brings more combat changes that 1.8 is lacking in. 1.7 is too old in my opinion. Personally, Shields, Timed combat, and dual (Duel?) wielding are major updates that, if you can't get a hold of, you shouldn't even play Minecraft PVP anyways. Servers will update. It's just what happens. It isn't unfortunate for anyone that can get used to, and become good at using said skills. Only those who cannot grasp the idea of not spamming their sword til someone dies, or those who already lack in combat, or even the fiends who think they're slick with Kill aura/Forcefield (Or whatever it's called these days) and the idea that their attacks won't do anywhere near as much damage as they used to.

1.9 brings many features and improvements to the game. I personally love the update so far. I've hosted a private server for me and a few friends on occasion to test things out. The PVP is intense, and it gets your heart racing faster than any sword-spamming battle. Shields are amazing, Dual wielding is amazing, all of it is amazing. There's not really any downside apart from small bugs that have nothing to do with the combat what-so-ever. Those who dislike the update most likely fear it, because they fear they can't improve with it.
