    Just a month ago there were like 1100+ players on the weekends, then I didn't play much for a bit and I come back to see brawl barely getting 600 players, what happened? Did some famous person/youtuber quit? or is it just dying?

    I don't think it's that. Servers like war died off wayyyy before 1.9 came out. We need to get the players back somehow.

    Many players (usually younger) are on 1.9, and they can't connect to brawl and don't know how to downgrade.

    Most of the bigger servers are taking over; Mineplex, Hypixel, and others. I agree to @SamRVCA, and I think the problem is people for some reason got bored, or grew up, and now that there are Mineplex and Hypixel, the younger people find those bigger servers and play on them. We do need to bring them back :wink:

    See, it's both 1.9 with people not knowing how to downgrade and lack of entertainment from Minecraft itself. As Minecraft gets older, more older people who were playing back in the day lost the enjoyment of playing, even for servers, War? Well, I mean it's something more than Vanilla Minecraft but it does get boring to a point. Even with more content, more updates in Brawl's servers, people will get bored as they drain out all the possibilities within weeks, rather then enjoying it in a steady pace.
    It seems that competitive playing drives people to play more, to get that feeling of success in a highly competitive game.
    Since people will automatically look for the most popular servers, such as Mineplex and Hypixel and a whole lot of other servers that seem to get popular.
    Brawl just isn't as popular as most servers are where our servers are considered smallish to others.

    This explains low player count not dwindling play count, recently it's 1.9.

    Ctf's btw great. Everybody loves ctf. And believe me. Brawl stakes are the greatest stakes. You can buy them in game by typing /heavy.

    Older players got bored of Minecraft. And people on mineplex/hypixel are getting stupider so it is just fun to kill them and see them get mad at you and shout misspelled insults at you in the chat.
