    I have nothing wrong with there being no spam, i'm loving it don't get me wrong. But the 10s cooldown can sometimes result in some issues, e.g:

    You're typing a long message, and you send the first part, but by the time the cooldown is over your second part is almost irrelevant to the first part.

    just thought it might be able to be slightly reduced.

    Maybe donors have no cooldown. But other than that, for normal players, the cooldown should be at most 5 seconds.

    EDIT: The chat as-is is already spammy (cartel taking over, death messages, drugs being used, different channels, etc.). I'm sure that was why the cooldown was made in the first place (or not, but it still prevents spam), so we should be more realistic and not considering having like no cooldown.
