    every so often there will be an goldrush event. what is that? its an event when ores produce faster and sell twice the amount of gold it can happen randomly or it can be set to times it would make mining more... interesting since people are using drugs these days and mines just feel so left out and the bounty of the drug producing is so low

    This could be a nice addition, but I don't really see the point of it yet. It is nice to make more money, but most people do drug runs to make the brunt of their money. It would be nice for newer players, but otherwise, I don't see the use. Maybe there could be a competition to have the most gold (currency) made from the event. When someone wins, they get a certain bonus, rather it be stronger weapons or more money.

    Hahah. Not too bad of an idea actually. Maybe the one who mines the most wins a prize or something. Not money, but some medal, statue or item.
