    Okay, so War 2.0 has been a very hot topic as of late, and I'm here to ask a few (this is actually kind of a lot) simple (kinda not) questions.

    What is it?
    What is War 2.0?

    Why is everyone waiting for it to come out?
    What will it do?
    How will War 2.0 be different from war right now?

    Will it reset clan names?

    Will it reset our stats?
    Why are people saying they'll "come back when war 2.0 comes out"?
    People keep saying that they'll come back when 2.0 is released. Why? Do they know something I don't?

    I think another reason why these people are leaving is the community. How will War 2.0 affect the community?
    What will be different?
    This is a very broad question, so no need to answer it fully, just the main things are fine. (different guns, maps, gamemodes etc.:wink:)

    Overall View

    So I know that these things may be unknown to us, but if they are, why are people so excited for it?

    This may impede the privacy of Brawl, so please don't give me information that your not suppose to give.

    Will we still be able to play regular war? Will this be in place of War, or a sort of "extra" "new" War?

    Because people are hyped about this, it peaked my interest, so if you know anything about War 2.0 please share! (If you know more than what I have said here :confused:)

    1. War 2.0 is going to be a new server as said by staff that will have new guns, prestige systems, and more and better concepts.
    2. There waiting cause war is boring and they want something "new".
    3. As I said above, there will be new guns, prestige and other stuff.
    4. It's going to be a new server so clan names might reset. Ask a staff member about that.
    5. It might reset our stats. As I said, ask the staff.
    6. They say this because they want to play something more "new" and "exciting".
    And Ya, you can still be able to play war.

    Don't trust My answers, I don't know all.


    P.S - War 2.o will never come out .

    @ZeFazzy summarized most of it, but I'll do some other explaining. It will indeed be a fresh new start, meaning that levels, clans, etc. will not be on it. As a staff member I will say I can't give you all the information. But I will also say War 2.0 is not an abandoned project, it's being worked on, it's just that 2 coders dropped out on it. But currently at least 1 coder is guaranteed to be working on it, and even though it may or may not be in progress right now, it's confirmed to have at least some progress after Wild West Beta. Don't keep your hopes TOO high, but expect it not to be completely abandoned. You could even see some progress on it here if you catch some.

    War 2.0 will be a new server in general. According to classified sources, War now will still be up but only get an update if there is a game-breaking bug.

    The reason people say they will come back when 2.0 is out (like myself) is because War as it is now is boring. Too many high level people that make the game no fun for new people, so new people don't come on to play. There is just a general dead feeling on the server now. Also War 2.0 shouldn't have all the terrible bugs of War now. This is why most people will come back for 2.0. #Soon (2069)

    It will be a new server. You'll still have your donations on the old war, which you can still play on. There will probably be new donation weapons for War 2.0.

    People are saying that they will come back when war 2.0 comes out because they think it will never come out and dont like war as it is right now.

    Interesting... War is so good right now, we just need updates for higher levels. I hope War 2.0 has achievements for higher levels...

    That's gonna hit the wallet hard... :wink:
