POV of Matty

Day One

You would think that the arena would be loud. I mean, on the television back home it is... but it's just so... quiet. The lift slowly brings me up. I see a few other people, Jaetpack and Turmac are next to me. I hear the capitals theme for the games go off. Counting down from 60. I got only one minute of life... I could die any second from then. I look around the middle and see lots of bags, then I look behind me. Trees upon trees just stacked all over the dirt. I couldn't see more than 100 feet into the forest. I look again to see the timer hit zero and the game begun. I froze and just started thinking about how I could just die or murder someone at any moment.

Screw it, I'm running! I take off and head into the forest. I pick up a thick branch while running and almost fall in the process. I hear rushing water from the distance and decided to head there. I sneak up to the big creek and hear a cannon in the distance. Someone died. As I was trying to guess who it was, a twig snapped behind me. I turn around and swing my branch, whoever it was punched me in the chest and knocked me on the ground. It was Lozzyloiuse, she had a small dagger in her hand and was walking towards me. I kicked her knee and she fell to the ground. I threw dirt in her face and took off running. A cannon explodes in the distance

Night one

POV Ryan02

The sun fell and darkness starting lining the trees shadows. I decided to not make a fire, I grab my mace and walk around the middle hoping someone lights a fire. I pull out some bread and start munching on it. I hear a cannon go off in the distance. I continue to eat when I notice I can see my shadow. How can I see my shadow when it is pitch... I turn around and see a very dim light in the distance. Someone made a campfire, I put my bread up and start jogging towards the light. As I get within viewing distance I see another person in the bushes next to me. It's justTactics, he set the fire as a trap. He hasn't seen me yet so I charge at him and pull my mace back. He hears me and turns towards me, I swing it down on him and it bashes against his head. He drops down and stops moving. Then it gets quiet, I need to go before someone catches up. I hear two cannon shots off in the distance.

Day Two
POV Ryan02

I found FeatherPaw last night. Instead of killing her I have been following her, trying to see if she is with someone else. For some reason though, I have been feeling a little sickly. I sit down around a few dozen feet from where FeatherPaw drinks water and wait for her. She hasn't been with anyone so I guess I'll just take her out when she comes back. I look over and notice my bag wasn't in the same spot as I left it. Did I move it? I mean I have been a little sick, so I'll just rest after I kill her and heal up. I take out some bread and begin to eat it as I did the day before. It tasted dull and stale and I just put it up. FeatherPaw walks up to the water and starts to drink. I slowly stand up and walk towards her, stomping and trying to keep my balance. She stands up and makes eye contact with me, then she just walks up to me and takes my mace out of my hand. She smiles and says that she poisoned the bread. I look at my backpack and curse in my head. Before I fall I hear a cannon go off for me... Nice to know I still get to hear it.
