    I think that randomly spawning nodes of liquid blocks would wreak havoc on our already laggy server. The peyote/cactus random node idea (on another thread) seems like it accomplishes the same goal, with less laggy blocks, and less breaking the roleplay.

    I don't think it would cause lag. Just imagine 1 Block spawning every 2-3 Minutes.
    And also I don't get why it breaks the roleplay. Oceans are very optional.
    Also: The oil would spawn as static lava, making it not able to flow. Placing would have to be blocked.

    And when playing, it isn't like: Hey, i'm going to farm oil now.
    It's more like: Hey, I'm going to farm drugs, and search for oil on the way.

    And if the server restart all oil gets removed so there is no overflow.

    And the peyote/cactus idea is a drug. It is illegal.
    It is just a small addition to drugs. I want something new. Because right now, you only do drugs.

    Pretty interesting. Should this idea be inputted, I believe that these buckets should be able to be stacked to a maximum, probably to 16

    It all depends on your inventory space, at maximum you would be able to have 27 buckets of lava, but you would only have buckets then. (Inventory)
    Empty buckets can be be stacked up to sixteen.

    I don't think it would be needed as they are rare. Player would probably just keep them in there horse until they decide to sell them all.
