If no-one has a real incentive to donate, Brawl can't pay the costs to run the servers, so no more Brawl.

There are ways to somewhat undermine the EULA. Priority access to servers doesn't seem like a real perk, but if those servers for some reason grant tons of in game currency...
(IMO this is more broken than servers are now AND its EULA permissible)

    Heres my two cents:
Mojang had every right to blacklist your server. EULA was enforced around August 2014 (correct me if I'm wrong), which means by around, you've had over EIGHTEEN MONTHS to switch over to cosmetics and have it be an even playing ground for non-donors. I truly think that you had this coming your way, and that you should've made the right choice of converting to cool cosmetics instead of having it be completely Pay-to-win.
I haven't played minecraft for over 3 hours since around December 2014, so I have long moved on. I saw this on DramaAlert and saw the screenshot of Brawl's address being on there, and I just wanted to say that you rightfully got what you were looking for, considering you directly violated its EULA.
    (Screenshot down below)
EDIT: From the interview on DramaAlert, it seems that you had gotten multiple warnings too. You should've really tried to do something.

I would say Brawl could profit off selling Booters to the warz players, but hell all of them have one already.

Mojang sucks! If Notch was still here, none of this would be happening, and everyone would be in a better place.

Brawl and every server on that list will die. Donations is what keeps the server running. If there's no cash coming in, the coders will no longer waste time and lose their job, Chap will not be able to keep up with the payments of keeping the server up, and soon the server will just have to shut down or downgrade. Either will cause the server to DIE. So I say do what GotPvP is doing and refuse to comply.

yea until Mojang starts rejecting earlier clients and or generally reject connections to the sessions servers entirely from blocked domains

Not really if you think about it. Microsoft bought mojang for 2.5 billion dollars, and the last thing they want is someone else who doesn't even own minecraft to make big money. I mean, other large servers can make hundreds of thousands of dollars from hosting their servers and their monetizing techniques. Basically microsoft is being ripped off by a scummy way of earning money, which is getting children to buy virtual cosmetics online to win and they have every right to stop this.

And on the other side these big community is what makes more people play minecraft, so they earn on it too. If the servers wouldn't be able to earn alot of money then big servers wouldn't ve a thing after a while and then less players would play the game and less new players would join when everyone else leaves.

i think we can all agree that minecraft would be a better game and a more enjoyable multiplayer experience without p2w garbage on 99% of servers

Yes, exept that the servers would all dissapear after some time. They need p2w features to keep the server running for a longer time.

I'd rather have servers with OP donation ranks than have no servers at all. You don't seem to get it - Brawl costs $9,000 a month to run, and its not something Chap can do without getting any money from it in return.
