Bringing Back Skywars

    Hello Brawlers,
    I have a suggestion, and I would like your opinion and possibly some suggestions and/or reasons the old Skywars should be brought back.

    The Skywars server we know and love was taken away due to a new Skywars 2.0 server. In my opinion, the server was quite fun, and was unique in many ways. Unfortunately, this new version was released too early and had many bugs and glitches. These bugs eventually stacked up, and the server was forced to shut down. The community was told the new Skywars would be released at a later date when the developers had time. I have heard no news of the recoding of the Skywars, which is understandable because the developers are busy with other projects such as War 2.0, WildWest, CTF updates, WarZ, etc.

    My Plan:
    I propose that the old Skywars should be brought back while we wait for the new Skywars 2.0 to be recoded.

    I have asked a few community members what they thought, and many of them would like to see the old Skywars be brought back. Please leave your comments on the revival of Skywars in the comments, or voting on the poll.

    Reasons/Ideas-

    -With the new EULA requirements, Skywars had little to none "Pay 2 Win" options, with a few modifications I believe that the kits could be modified to make it less "Pay 2 Win."

    -The Skywars community was rich and always had players online, even at later times in the night, and I believe that bringing the server back would attract new and old players the server.

    -Skywars is a simple gamemode that is easy for players of all ages to understand.

    -Skywars is a simple server to code, and with the old version most likely already in the Brawl system I think that it would be easy to dig up the code and get the server up and running again.

    -I think that many cosmetics could be added to encourage players to donate to the server, such as particles, death effects, pets in the lobby, cages, and many others.

    Please leave your comments and suggestions below, I would enjoy having the old Skywars revived and I know many others would as well.

    Old skywars was seriously one of my favorite parts about Brawl. I would have sleepovers with friends and we'd play Skywars on Brawl for the whole night. I also enjoyed having no life multiple weekends that I reserved for Skywars only. I LOVED IT.

    I actually loved the old skywars. I could imagine it wouldnt be too difficult to get it back up and running while they work on the new one.

    Personally, if they brought back the old Sky Wars, I would prefer that over any new Sky Wars server, simply because it was such a fun gamemode to play with friends.

    I used to play Skywars a lot with @Lozzylouise while she was still in Trial. I loved this game and I'd like it to be brought back.

    And by the way, this could be the same for SG and SGG (@protatopotpie)

    Brawl should do a money drive with the community, and if they meet the goal, they bring back skywars.

    They need to add something simple that makes the game a lot different to other servers. The two biggest Minecraft servers have skywars and there's no point playing here if there's nothing unique about our skywars than everyone else's.

    They had a really cool new skywars that had soup and HG kits. It was similar to void HG but less players and faster paced. The only problem with it was that it was really buggy so it was removed until it could be fixed at a later time.

    It doesn't matter is the game is original enough, it was just supposed to be a chill and fun game, which it was.

    This would be a great addition to brawl. I understand it wasn't the most popular gamemode, but It was indeed fun and I enjoyed it a lot. Adding it back would receive positive feedback in my opinion.

    I remember tons of people enjoying the old skywars, hell, even I enjoyed it with my friends as it was so much fun at the time. Even if I accidentally throw the ender pearl 2 inches off and landed in the void. Would be wonderful to see it come back as a server again. Hopefully all the code is still somewhere around to be put back up.

    A total yes! I really enjoyed Skywars! It was a gamemode that never frustrated me and always had the element of fun behind it. I would love to see it come back.
