Deathstreaks

    Deathstreaks are a feature (similar to perks or killstreaks) in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of
    Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The purpose is to give the player a consolation in order to motivate them to get back into the game after dying a certain amount of times without a kill. Their effectiveness is limited in order to discourage players from intentionally dying in streaks to activate them. They will activate upon each respawn the player has after the necessary number of deaths until a kill is scored. When the deathstreak is snapped, the deathstreak perk remains in effect for the remainder of that life; the following respawn will not have the deathstreak active.

    I- Painkiller:

    Painkiller divides all the damage recieved by the player by three when the user spawns for the third time without getting a kill. It only lasts for ten seconds before the player receives the normal amount of damage. While Painkiller is in effect, the player's screen is tinged yellow with a pill showing how many seconds are left in the deathstreak. When shooting a player with this deathstreak, the Painkiller icon will appear below the cross-hairs.

    Some consider it less effective since it is temporary, but it gives a much greater health bonus, dividing all damage given from a weapon by three. In most game modes, the player will respawn away from the action, making this deathstreak almost useless, though it can be useful if an enemy is spawnkilling everyone, giving the user enough time to react and find cover. Painkiller is useful in more popular games like Free-for-All where players often spawn close to each other

    Note: This can not be used in infect for the zombies, it would make them invincible, particularly for the root.

    II- Juiced:

    Juiced gives a speed boost to 125% of a standard soldier sprinting that lasts for seven seconds upon respawning. This improvement in mobility can be used to enter battle more quickly and as an advantage in combat. It is unlocked for the third time without getting a kill.

    Note: This can not be used in infect for the zombies.

    III- Hollow Points:

    The Hollow Points deathstreak is obtained after being killed five times in a row without any kills. It gives the player 40% extra bullet damage, which is the same as the Stopping Power perk. It ends after one kill. Hollow points also cannot be stacked, meaning that after five deaths, another death without a kill will not add Hollow Points for another kill.

    Hollow Points is one of the most effective deathstreaks and will almost always guarantee a kill eventually. Enemies hit by a player using Hollow Points will barely have time to react. Hollow Points is most useful with sniper rifles, light machine guns or assault rifles, because they have higher damage, and the extra damage bonus will be more useful. Shotguns will, most of the time, get a kill with one pull of the trigger, no matter what shotgun the player is using. Hollow Points also works like the Damage Proficiency for shotguns when not in use. Hollow Points does not affect LAW or grenades as they do not count as bullet damage. It could help for weapons with the lowest damage statistics or have too much hip fire spread when some shots can miss and not do its needed damage

    IV- Revenge:

    It will allow the player to periodically see the position of the last enemy that killed them. The killer's position will be shown by a red point which moves depending on the killer's movements. This deathstreak ends after one kill, regardless of who the kill was. It is unlocked for the fifth time without getting a kill.

    Intresting. Maybe. Eh. Some tweaking needs to be done. If you thought stopping spawntrapping as the first priority for deathstreaks: add a barrier or something to stop the spawntrappers from proceeding closer. Ik this wouldn't work for all maps.

    I haven't read it really, but the idea of a deathstreak is great.

    No there is a reason why there are no deathstreak in cod anymore, they are just stupid, why reward someone for beeing a noob? They don't make the player better or motivate them or stuff like that,

    I think that they need to be a little more subtle. Like perks that don't really help that player that much, just gives them a little edge. Like maybe the speed, and holopoint after 5 kills. Having huge advantages, were if you come across that person you are sure to die I don't really like.

    Is it too late to weigh in on this?
    This would really help break down gridlock and prevent major spawn camping like we see all too often. Breaking the meta very once and a while is very important and needs to be done at least yearly. We as a community are sorely needing this. So anything that can do that is something I'm all for
