    My favorite types of ads are the ones where they tell you those silly methods to lose weight fast. Or get rich quick! :smile: Sometimes I wonder how those ads come up...

    I mean they are based off of this:
    • Previous search activity related to your current search
    • Google Web History and the settings in your Ad Settings
    • Websites you’ve visited that belong to businesses that advertise with Google
    • Non-personally identifying information in your Google account, like your age and gender
    • Previous interactions with Google’s ads, advertising services, or search results

    I use adblock because ads are annoying and distract from what you're trying to read. I also use it because my PC once had a bad run in with adware. I don't want to go through that again.

    Plus, now I don't have to sit through 30 second ads on youtube that you can't skip.
