    It was on this day, exactly one year ago, that many hearts were broken, it was the death of MCPVP.

    I remember one year ago, trying to join the server to continue qualifying for the May Quarter Quell, only to realise it has shut down. Going onto the forums, I realised that MCPVP had died and moved to Brawl. I joined Brawl for the first time that day, and to be honest, the anti cheat in place at that time gave me cancer.

    I'm a relatively new player, joining around 2014, but I was able to experience the 120 servers, going onto the mcpvp.com website to check for any game that was beginning to fill up, and having to join it within the next few seconds before it was full.

    The feeling when you kill a player after a close fight, the feeling when a game was about to start, the feeling when you died, the feeling when you're in the last 10, and last but not least, the feeling when you finally win. Great times, great memories. MCPVP may be dead physically, but it will live on in the hearts of MCPVPers.
