1st Idea:

Creates a lightning strike wherever the potion lands.

Gadget Activation Item:
Splash Potion of Swiftness

What does the gadget do when activated?
Makes lightning strike wherever the potion falls. If possible, it wouldn't give players the speed boost perk.

Fire Spell

Gadget Brief Description:
Creates a fireball wherever the potion lands.

Gadget Activation Item:
Splash Potion of Fire Resistance

What does the gadget do when activated?
Makes a 2x2 fireball wherever the potion falls. If possible, it wouldn't give players the fire resistance perk.

 

Gadget Name: Jetpack
Gadget Brief Description: Allows you to fly around for a LIMITED time
Gadget Activation Item: furnace minecart
What does the gadget do when activated? This was already proposed (and I think coded as well) back in MCPVP days, it allowed you to fly around for a short time. A new lobby that was being built actually had a jetpack maze with no floor and various checkpoints, which is pretty cool because it means that the gadget actually gives you a small challenge.

Gadget Name: Hats
Gadget Brief Description: Custom designed hats similar to Deadmau5' ears
Gadget Activation Item: Rhoske's head. This is very important
What does the gadget do when activated? Deadmau5' server was what convinced me to buy minecraft rather than play pirated singleplayer, and the absolute coolest thing for me back then was deadmau5' ears. This gadget would give us a bunch of similar hats, a bit like TF2, which would be displayed in a gui brought up by right clicking my head, because I'm great. While I don't know how easy this would be to code, it's got a lot of options for expansion. You could even have some for completing challenges (e.g 1000 flag recoveries in ctf).

Gadget Brief Description:A rainbow armor that changes color rapidly.

What does the gadget do when activated?Hurts other people's eyes.

Gadget Name:Enchanted
Gadget Brief Description:It is a particle effect.
Gadget Activation Item:Book
What does the gadget do when activated? Enchanting particles starts coming out from you.

Gadget Name:Rocket Boots
Gadget Brief Description:Its iron boots that lets out fire particles from below it.
Gadget Activation Item:Redstone
What does the gadget do when activated?Allows you to double jump.

 

Gadget Name: Key of King's Law
Gadget Brief Description: Summons powerful weapons from who-knows-where with which you can smite your enemies.
Gadget Activation Item: Shield
What does the gadget do when activated? While blocking with the shield, a number of golden tools appear above the user with fancy particle effects. Upon releasing the shield, the tools fly in the direction of the user's line-of-sight, exploding in holy-ish light upon impact with anything.

Gadget Brief Description: Crush your opponents with dark magic.
Gadget Activation Item: Enchanted book
What does the gadget do when activated? The user holds down right click for 3 seconds while enchantment table particles swirl around him at increasing speed and density. Meanwhile, all nearby players are assailed with a chaotic beam of particles flying down from the heavens. After the 3 seconds end, all nearby players are struck with lightning in a flash of even more particles and the chat displays, "PENTAKILL!".

 

Gadget Name: Paint gun
Gadget Brief Description: Turns into snow ball gun that's shoots snowballs. When the snowball hits a block, the surrounding 1x2 block will turn a color of wool.
Gadget Activation Item: Blaze stick
What does the gadget do when activated? It shoots snowballs like mc war but with the regular range of a snowball and it turns whatever it hits in a 1x2 radius into a color of wool

 

Gadget Name: Rocket boots
Gadget Description: Pierce through the sky and soar with the clouds
Gadget Activation Item: Iron boots (Worn)
What does the gadget do when activated? When worn these boots allow you to jump 15 blocks in the air, leaving behind a white cloud effect trail.

 

Gadget Name: Slug Rocket
Gadget Brief Description: It's like a cannon that shoots slugs or silverfish at a person
Gadget Activation Item: Chickenputty
What does the gadget do when activated?
It shoots silverfish and it makes silverfish attack you

Gadget Name: Chickenputty
Gadget Brief Description: "The Egg Man"
Gadget Activation Item: The egg man
What does the gadget do when activated? It gives them whatever doner item to use for 1 hour 1 time a week

 

Gadget Name: Paintball Gun
Gaget Brief Description: When used, the gadget shoots a snowball. When the snowball hits a block, every block within a 2 block radius sphere turns into that paintball gun's color, and then slowly turn back to the original abject within 5 seconds. There could be multiple pinball guns to acquire, all of which have different colors.
Gaget Activation Item: Enchanted Horse Armor
What does the gadget do when activated? When right clicked, a snowball is fired at normal speed, this then does as described in the description.

 

Gadget name: Weed
Gadget description: Smoke some of dem dank joints for dat high af feeling
Gadget activation item: Grass (not the block)
What does the gadget do: Gives you nausea and blindness, and the blocks around you will be randomly changed to red, blue, green, yellow, orange, or purple wool. At the same time, words with flashing colours will appear on your screen and say YOURE HIGH AF M8, ENJOY THE FEELING

 

Gadget Name: Diamond rain
Gadget Brief Description:RAIN LIKE A BOSS
Gadget Activation Item: Diamond
What does the gadget do when activated? right click the diamond for first. then it will storm once then the 10x10 blocks area near you will drop 1 diamond each block from the sky. then it may shouted"<playername> GIVES DIAMOND To EVERYONE! HOORAY!! HERO COMFIRMED!!"

 

Gadget Name: Dark Tome: Flux
Gadget Brief Description: Feeling creepy? A little dark magic always does the trick!
Gadget Activation Item: Enchanted book
What does the gadget do when activated? At first, it spawns a small orb of magic critical particles directly in front of the player which lasts for 3 seconds. After that, a lightning strike sound is played and a pillar of dragon breath particles descends from the air in front of the player and creeps along the ground for a few blocks. Once it has reached its maximum distance, another player-sized pillar of particles rises from the ground and the wither spawn sound plays. The pillar would then fade.

What does the gadget do when activated? When right clicked you'll get the Nausea potion effect.

Gadget Name: Necromancer's Staff.
Gadget Brief Description: Summons a giant skeleton which you can ride on (uses armor stands).
Gadget Activation Item: Enchanted bone.
What does the gadget do when activated? Right click and then a giant skeleton will come out of the ground (half way sticking out) which you ride on for several seconds. Not all my idea.

Gadget Brief Description: "I believe I can fly"
Gadget Item: Feather
What it does when activated: When activated, it give smoke particles around you and you can fly for 15 seconds. 30 Second cooldown.

What Does the Gadget do When Activated: Blaze rod drops and multiple semi-sized rainbows appear around you

 

Gadget Name: FireHose
Gadget Brief Description: Put out the fire with this handy dandy hose.
Gadget Activation Item: Slimeball
What does the gadget do when activated? Spews Water


Gadget Name: Flamethrower
Gadget Brief Description: Guy Montag reporting for duty.
Gadget Activation Item: Blaze Powder
What does the gadget do when activated? Spews Fire

Gadget Name: Admin
Gadget Brief Description: You have found the key to success - DJ Khaled
Gadget Activation Item: Admin Key
What does the gadget do when activated? Gives you Admin

 

Gadget Name: Supernova
Gadget Brief Description: "Bursting at the seems!"

What does the gadget do when activated? Shoots a beam in the air and summons a giant explosion.

Gadget Name: EnderDragonAttack
Gadget Brief Description: An item when right-clicked summons an enderdragon which will chase you in the main hub/lobby.
Gadget Activation Item: An eye of ender.
What does the gadget do when activated?
Suddenly, a sound of a dragon will take place. Then from above you you will see a dragon plummeting towards you. Once you leave the main area (portals and warps) the dragon will start 2 make blocks fly around you. (Like it does in the end) It will create a trail of endstone.
