Mc-War - What keeps you playing?

    I'm curious as to what everyone's motivation to come play war really is. As many of you may know, our awesome coder @Totom3 is vigorously working on War 2.0, however, in the past, due to the lack of work on it, many great members of the community have quit while awaiting the arrival. That being said, you haven't. What makes you still love War and want to play? For me, there's a few aspects -
    1. I enjoy the classic War (Personally more than I want 2.0)
    2. I'm trying to work my way as high as possible on the leaderboards.
    3. I thoroughly enjoy Moderating here.
    4. Too many good friends I've made to just leave.
    So, what keeps you here and playing?

    I enjoy the classic War as well. I love owning a clan, that really keeps me interested. Many friends, as you said, are too hard to leave behind. And once I am allowed to ts, working towards becoming a mod myself :wink:

    I just can't help playing with friends and even if they are virtual, I consider them as really good friends. And I know they will always be there for me in whatever situation, making me feel better. Moreover, I wish I could be in the leaderboard as soon as possible, I'm very close to getting 100k kills and it won't be that hard afterwards. Finally as @DarkTitan_ said, I'm working hard to become a staff member again too.

    It helps me back to the good old times when I was new, and didn't have a KDR. Also, I was lvl 18 and had more than 5k kills :L

    10% clan teamwork <3 GSG
    5% That feeling when you kill 6 poeple in 3 seconds with skullcrusher, or when you suicide in infect, drop a random grenade, and kill 10 blues :stuck_out_tongue:

    1,2 and 4 is a big agree, especially how ive made friends and how its nice tolkar with them.
    Yea, im trying to climb up the leaderboards too Snail :stuck_out_tongue: And get a better kdr (not tryharding or something tho) just to have shorter goals like making it go up by 0.005 abouts every day. Just not to get rusty just derping abouts and loosing all my skill which have happend before and is not that fun really and then i quit for some months, come back and usually play very good the first two days. Then it goes the same way around, getting a little bit worse for every month that goes and after some time im back where i quit. Just because i dont try to improve and just derp around having fun... Untill its not fun because i die too much :stuck_out_tongue:. Idk. :V

    Personally, I like war the way it is.

    I'm an old school gamer and loved games like Duke Nukem...old school.

    Not a fan of fancy graphics or all the 2.0 hype.

    If it were me I would fix the current legacy game, change maps monthly, and invest in it versus creating 2.0.

    Here's what I like:

    Friends, clan mates, creating texture packs, talking trash, blowing sh*t up, zombie apocalypses, last stands with some nub against the zombie hoard, forums, and wrecking people.

    Not interested in 2.0.

    Enjoy my friends and the source material ideas for my book and future YouTube channel.

    To be honest:
    75 % GSG, I know without me it would probably die. I cannot let this happen.
    25 % friends, they would be sad if I leave
    War itself... it's always the same :/
